Charlie Dotson

Description of Work: Mr. Dotson was to install a stamped concrete patio with a 10x10 section to be perfectly level for a hot-tub installation. The patio installed was 15x21 to size and even after multiple reminders that it needed to be level in the 10x10 section, when I arrived home they were finishing and I discovered it was not level with a 7" slope across the 15 foot and a comparable slope in the 10x10 section. I complained and his solution was to level the 10x10 by pulling concrete from the high side so there was a resultant 3 inch dip in the patio - clearly a safety hazard. After multiple complaints I refused to pay him the final installation but was unable to recover the $2,500 already paid. I had to have the patio removed and replaced by another contractor who provided very professional services and met all specifications. The new contractor did everything right that was not done by Dotson.
