Bolt Electric

After purchasing the Coupon "Electrical-2624321-1" for 39.00 through Angie's list, I received the following email from Bolt Electric asking me to call and set up an appointment. I included this to make sure that I have the right Bolt Electric, as the tech came out of the Manatee/Sarasota office.

While making that call they asked what needed to done while on the service call and I told them it was to replace a recessed ceiling fixture in the hallway.  When the tech showed up, he was unable to remove the fixture from the main living area and needed to access the attic to remove the old fixture.  He said he would have to call and make another appointment to have someone else access the attic and the normal rate would apply for the return. While there he asked me questions about my electrical system and looked at my panel and other items. I believe he was there not to replace my fixture, but to scout around and see what else he could sell me. It appears I paid 39.00 for a sales call as well as waste my time.

Tom worked with the siding people to install our lighting in a timely fashion. He often came by the house to see if the siding people were here so he could talk to them about the best time for him to do the work. We have hired him for a couple of other smaller jobs are glad he was able to do this bigger job for us. We were not disappointed and would highly recommend his work.

Tom showed up on time and was no-nonsense, efficient, organized, and clean. He was careful to ensure that we were happy with the position of the fans and lights BEFORE he'd started any work. After the work was completed, there was no evidence that he'd been here, minus the new lights and ceiling fans of course!

It was mostly lighting set ups for a new room. I love their work. I've used them for years. They've done other work for me too. They are very easy to work with. Their availability is good. The guys are nice and their prices are reasonable.
