THE BIKE LANE

They worked on it right their to clean and adjust it. When it acted up again that week they re-addressed the cleaning and then I had them replace several sprockets with worn teeth. Those were not on hand based on the age of my bike but they ordered them and had my bike back to me according to the schedule they told me when I brought it in.

Another bicycle shop had just completed installing new tires, new chain and tuning the bike.  I took the bike for a ride and the gears were slipping.  I did not wish to take it back to the shop I went to before so I took my bike to the bike lane.  One of the technicians listened to what I had to say, took the bike, checked it out, made a few adjustments right away and returned to me at no cost.  I did buy some products from this store.  I will not go back to the other place.

Excellent service; they fixed the problem in the fork in only a few minutes, and re-routed the shifter cable to reduce the tension on the handlebar.

Very friendly and professional. I had a complete tune-up and got an odometer installed and calibrated. The price was very reasonable and the bike was ready the next day.

They were very professional, and the service was prompt and attentive.
When I went to pick up my bike, they even adjusted my handlebars and hand brakes so they were very easier for me to reach and use.

This review is for the Reston store.
I walked in with a bike that had a persistent rubbing break and a wheel
with a minor out-of-true condition. The fellow in the fix-it area looked
at it and said he'd fix it on the spot. He did and charged very little.
He also noticed a couple of other minor problems which he fixed. I
tested it on a short ride and everything worked fine.

This Bike Lane is a great neighborhood bike shop for West Springfield. The owners/managers are welcoming, knowledgeable, and service-oriented. In fact, the entire staff (i've met about 10 in 3 visits) are avid cyclists and have consistently been eager to offer advice, e.g. maintenance tips and hints on great rides/ outfitting. Variety (bike brands) is relatively limited, parts/ accessory inventory is small, and prices are a little high, but this shop prides itself on custom service, perfect fit, and follow-through. My neighbor raves about them and informs that all new bikes come with a perpetual free service policy. And the quick, capable, and inexpensive service of a large group of mechanics drew me in - outshines others shops I've visited in the region. They've been willing to use my web-purchased parts and helped get my trail-eaters running again for far less than I've been quote elsewhere.

I am always treated very well and cannot adequately describe how good the Bike Lane is with just an A. They deserve an A+.

The entire staff is very knowledgeable on bikes and their products. They will always provide sound advice and the mechanics are top-notch. The prices are reasonable and they always perform their services on time.
