We use these guys because they are the only ones who can get the job done well.  They are a little pricey but the quality is worth it.

John and his team were ready to go on time both days. They were very efficiently and fast, with minimal breaks and diversions. They did great work on repairing and preparing all surfaces. They were very careful to protect all unpainted surfaces, furniture, etc. His team left the house clean at the end of each day. The results were breathtaking. We had used John a few years ago and expect to use him again on our next painting project. He is reliable, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. A great job for a fair price.

Excellent service. In a few cases after the power washing was completed John Spicer recommended that some planned painting was not needed and he reduced the price. Cleanup following the job was fast and perfect.

John Spicer and team did a fantastic job. The showed up on time as promised and began prepping the kitchen immediately. John and his two painters were professional in every sense of the word. Put down drop cloths, taped everything, prepped the walls completely (e.g., holes from picture frame nails and even patched areas that required a bit more effort. They cleaned up the site and when finished, the kitchen looked great. No complaints or issues. Actually, planning on having John back soon to paint the basement. Spicer will be our painter from now on. Also, I got 2 other quotes from highly rated Angie's List painters and John was the lowest.

I was refered to Spicer from a neighborhood Sherwin Williams while browsing for colors. Of the several paint companies I called, John returned my call within 5 minutes of my leaving a voicemail. He accommodated my schedule and dropped by for an estimate early on that Saturday morning. We talked about the proposed work, colors, pros and cons of trim work, and all of my questions were answered. Within an hour of the appointment I was emailed a detailed estimate. We communicated by email to firm up a date and the scope of the work. John was extremely responsive via email and followed up every few days to make sure we were on track. On the day of service, he and two men showed up ready for work. They moved furniture and covered it thoroughly. John and I walked through each wall and verified which color went where and marked up each wall to ensure there was no confusion and we were on the same page with the exact work to be performed. The work took as long as specified - maybe a little shorter. At the end of the job, the crew cleaned everything up, vacuumed, inspected their work, and moved all furniture back. If we weren't home for these two days, we never would have known they were there! I was provided an itemized invoice for service within a day.
