"This unit was installed July 2015. We did not receive a complaint from this customer after installation even though it was early in the season. A year later she was called because she didn't feel it was cooling properly. We performed a thorough check plus verified the unit was the same size as the previous unit. We found the unit was cooling properly and everything was working per manufacturer specifications. This customer was trying to cool attic space with no insulation, no drywall as a finished space would have, and the attic space also had a supply to it. We have since learned the house was sold in August 2017 and this may have been the reason she wanted to condition the space. We recommended and offered to close supplies and duct work for no additional charge, but she did not want to do that. We informed the customer that it could not be conditioned because there were no walls or insulation. We always stand behind our work and our warranty."
"Service was performed on Wednesday, 1-11-2017 and an estimate was given to replace the water heater because it was leaking. The quoted price was $1700.00, not $1800.00. We have a set price for water heaters and would not tell a customer we could have done it for less at the time of install. Additional work to change drain valves and humidifier valves was also included in the quoted price. The customer signed the contract while the technician was at his home, but the water heater wasn't installed until the next day, which afforded the opportunity for the customer to shop the price. We don't use high pressure techniques to sell equipment and parts."
