R.F. Hawes Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning

Last time I called Bob Hawes was for plumbing work in 2013. This time I didn't realize that I had flipped off the switch for my heating, A/C unit when I dropped a large container next to and close to the heating unit. I didn't have A/C late on a Friday night when I called and left a message for Bob. Said I could probably get through the weekend just fine but my A/C, heat and fan were not working, I had determined it was not a breaker problem. Was surprised when I got a call the next morning, a Saturday, saying he could come by later that day. Of course, the first thing Bob did was move the large item I had dropped next to the unit and flipped the switch. I immediately had A/C. Felt pretty foolish, but my unit had not been serviced in at least several years so I asked if he would go ahead and service the heat and A/C. He just charged for a service call. He pointed out my unit is 15 years old (my how time flies). Otherwise, he said everything is working fine. I really appreciated the quick response and will call Bob when needed in the future.

He has done a number of plumbing jobs here. He also is knowledgeable about heating and air conditioning. He has repaired our heating in the past as well as he has excellent plumbing skills and knowledge. He is just the highest quality plumber that we've ever worked with. He's very reasonable. If the job takes longer than he thinks it did or wish it would, he would give us a deal. He charges the basic going rate but he's very honest and very high quality. He stayed and worked until late evening on the heater. I had to keep calling him back. He was able to fix it that day and he's got me in quickly even when he had other clients. He's very responsive about calling back.
