I can't say enough good things about Poinelli Home Improvement. It felt to me like they were working in their own home. They did every little thing they could to make the space a better living space for our family. Even when they were putting in the drywall they stopped to ask about speakers/TV and if they could help prepare us for that… little things that meant a lot.
The team was at our house bright and early every morning, they were excellent communicators (in person and responsive via email) to make sure that we were on the same page about everything at all times.
The work was top notch. We have had a lot of contractors in our home over the years and Poinelli Home Improvement is one of the best. It's not a question of whether I would have these work for us again -- the question is really why would I have anyone else?! I am now looking for more things for them to improve in my home.
Hire them, you will be glad you did.

This is a whole house renovation. On the first day, the old bathrooms, kitchen floor, kitchen counters and bedroom walls were removed. It's been a week and progress is excellent. The new kitchen subfloor is in. The nasty animal stains in the dining room are gone. The bedrooms and closets are built. The bathrooms were stripped to the studs and I now have a bathtub, and a framed shower. I have worked with Eddy for over 10 years. He is trustworthy, dependable, efficient and fair.

The project was for my parents kitchen and I was not there while it was underway. My dad reported that all was going well and that he was pleased with the work and the progress Eddy was making. Eddy was good about discussing what he was doing with my dad and making suggestions along the way to change or improve what was to be done. A day after completion my family and I came to visit and were completely amazed at the updated kitchen. Eddy did a beautiful job and my parents are very pleased with the results. They have asked Eddy to do some more projects around the house. If Eddy lived near me I would definitely have him as our "go to guy" for various projects around our house.

He didn't just put stuff up, he thinks about it and puts design effort into it. He makes suggestions from past experiences but he also will listen to what you say and what you want done.

Eddy and Jr. did a fantastic job on our bathroom. I selected them not only for their extremely reasonable and honest bid, but because I felt comfortable with them personally. They became part of the family during the construction, and were great with my kids. I had no problem leaving them in the house by themselves. The Poinelli's are great craftsman who take time to get things right and pay attention to the details. Eddy truly wanted to hear our opinions and got us involved in each necessary decision to ensure we were happy with the finished product. He also made it clear that as the customer we were quality control, and if we weren't happy with something he would make it right.

They were absolutely fabulous. They worked with me at all times to coordinate anything they needed. They were very flexible, but at the same time very reliable. They didn't need a lot of supervision, but did notify me if they needed a decision. Additionally, they were very friendly and explained something if I didn't understand it.

From start to finish, Eddy was the best contractor I've ever worked with. We started with my basement apartment, where he made an amazing suggestion for my concrete floor -- improving the look one-thousand percent. He also made a great suggestion for the apartment's bathroom floor. He also painted and touched up dry wall - all in a couple of days so that I could quickly rent it out. Next was my kitchen that he completed remodeled. I only wish I had before and after photos, because words won't do his work justice. He installed cabinets and tile, installed light fixtures and doors, found a great granite company, came up with a solution for a low ceiling over my staircase and the list goes on and on. Truly best experience ....

I found out about Eddy, through a neighbor. Eddy has been the contractor for various jobs for her father-in-law for decades now, so that said something about him. I could not be happier with my choice. Made my research, through Angie's list as well, got five quotes and finally I decided to go with Eddy, not only for the price, but also for how comfortable I felt in asking just about anything, at just about any time, without feeling I was bothering him. He did an excellent job, very thorough, very professional. He showed up on time, and if not for a cabinet delay that had nothing to do with him, we would have been right on time with the job. Even though he did not have to, he took the time to come with me when I was going to pick my cabinets and granite and gave me invaluable advice. He is a small family business with values and I really appreciated how he did not take advantage of how clueless I was at first for these kind of matters. I am going to use his company again for a fireplace makeover we are doing this month, this says a lot, as I said, when you have a contractor and keep using him. He has already replaced some doors for me, after my kitchen remodeling took place. Very happy with the price as well, so I highly recommend his company and him.
