INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL - What a disappointment. I was treated like I wasn't important from the day I walked in. Two times I came in to request a design consult on my kitchen remodel. Both times my contact information was scratched down on the back of yellow pad, and both times I had to follow up to see why no one followed up with me. When the designer finally contacted me (after I complained to the owner), it was "What's your budget?" "Send me some pictures" and "I'll talk to my contractor and get back to you" -Which she never did. When I made the owner ware of what was going on, he referred me back to the same designer who sent me an email explaining that "these things take time." Condescending, No sense of customer urgency, and a lack of ownership, by the owner. I feel like they saved me the trouble of what probably would have been a horrible experience if I had let them into my home. I reached out to another firm, and they had a designer in my home in less than a week.

We’ve used many contractors in the past, but this time, we decided to use one that came highly recommended by a friend instead. And boy, were we glad we did! Jackie, our designer, and Nicely Done Kitchens and Baths (NDKB) are tremendous! We expressed our vision for a new kitchen and Jackie went to the drawing board and came back with plans they were even better! And Jackie even found a way to give us our dream gourmet kitchen without breaking the bank. She did a superb job and we couldn’t be happier. NDKB really is a boutique design center that holds your hand all the way from start to finish. And Olivia, our project manager, was wonderful, as well. If you go with NDKB, you won’t be disappointed.

This review is long overdue, but I've been so busy enjoying my beautiful, new kitchen that I haven't had a chance to leave a review until now. Our dated kitchen was in dire need of a complete overhaul and I was thrilled to discover Nicely Done Kitchens. I had interviewed another kitchen remodel company, but was disappointed with the boring design they proposed not to mention how high the quote was. After meeting with Kate (a designer at Nicely Done Kitchens), I knew I had found the company I wanted to work with. Kate is nothing short of AMAZING! Not only does she have an incredible eye for design, she is a lot of fun to work with. She spent a lot of time during our initial meeting asking questions to better understand how we wanted our new kitchen to function. Based on our meeting, I was excited for our next appointment to see what she would come up with. The overall design Kate proposed exceeded my expectations! Everything from the cabinetry, countertops, to the finishes she proposed were exactly "my style." Without a doubt, she designed my dream kitchen. After signing the contract and before the work was to begin, Kate met with me many times to finalize the plan and to make sure everything was perfect. She was extremely patient when I started to second guess my countertop selection and even met with me at the fabricator's shop to relook at every quartz sample they had. I am forever grateful that I ultimately went with Kate's original counter recommendation -- it looks fantastic. As with any remodeling project, there were a few hiccups once construction began, but Kate along with Olivia (the project manager), and Steve (the general contractor assigned to my project) were always on top of things. Steve is a very professional and knowledgeable general contractor with years of experience. He and his skilled crew did a great job. The finished kitchen is fabulous!

Everything went great. Started planning in the summer with work expected to begin in November, we had a working kitchen by Christmas, and final touches were done in the new year. Everything happened pretty much on schedule. Our project manager Rachel took care of everything, kept us well-informed on the inevitable minor changes in schedule, ensured everything was getting done to our satisfaction, and answered all our questions. We never had a concern about the work crews doing when they needed to do if we weren’t able to be there. Natalia, our designer, helped us decide on concepts, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. Sorry, neighbors, we have the best kitchen in Kings Park!

Overall the project went very well. Designer was very professional and worked well with us on ideas / changes that we wanted to see. Project coordinator and subcontractor were also very professional and two primary individuals handling day-to-day work were very good and proactive in communicating any issues they encountered. Appliance supplier recommended by NDK wasn't as reliable as planned with refrigerator back-ordered (found out a matter of days before delivery) and then dishwasher potentially back-ordered, but replaced by a next level unit they had on hand. Cabinet supplier also missed two components in their initial shipment, but was able to get them fabricated so as not to impact the overall schedule. Project actually finished a few days ahead of schedule and only 2 change orders were incurred. While certainly not the low bid, quality and professionalism were excellent which offset most, if not all, of the higher cost. Finished product looks excellent, so our choice to use them appears to be well justified.

We worked with Jackie Lluy on the design of the kitchen and had a great experience. It's amazing how one simple change like moving the refrigerator to the other side of the room made such a huge difference in the layout we wanted. She was also very understanding of the look and feel we were going for and gave us some great suggestions to meet our goals. Rachel De For was our project coordinator and helped us understand the schedule, tracked down any questions we had, and kept us updated throughout the process. She was even nice enough to water our plants while we were on vacation (thank you!). Steve Endress and his team were the contractors who turned the design into reality and created a truly beautiful end result. The guys were always super responsive, courteous, and great at their areas of expertise. Steve was awesome at keeping everything on track and making sure the end result was spectacular. He was also super responsive and kept us in the loop on the schedule and who was showing up when (he even fixed my ceiling after my toilet leaked from upstairs!). I cannot say enough about the team's professionalism and dedication to keeping their customers happy and to producing fantastic end results. Thank you so much for transforming our kitchen into a place we really love to spend time in now!

Thanks to the hard work, creativity, professionalism and fabulous design skills of Kate Couchman, we now have the kitchen of our dreams. She is an amazing designer, she listened to our needs and preferences and provided us with fantastic recommendations and options. She then worked with us to keep the project within our planned budget. Her strengths include a strong eye for design, attention to detail, and being an incredibly easy and fun person with whom to work. She understood the way we use our kitchen to entertain, and how we spend time there as a family for meals and homework; she masterfully incorporated those needs into the beautiful, functional and elegant design that we enjoy today. Nicely Done Kitchens and Baths renovated our kitchen and half bath. As the result of excellent Angie’s List reviews, we hired them without seeking other estimates. Our team was: designer – Natalia, project coordinator – Rachel, appliance / cabinet / tile installer and painter – Angel, hardwood floor installer – Leo and his team, plumber – Donny, and electrician – Dave. The team took our input but also offered valuable alternatives. They anticipated problems; for example, they measured and re-measured and re-measured and re-measured. But they also quickly handled any issues that arose. We were particularly pleased with Natalia’s valuable design suggestions, Rachel’s quick responses to our questions, and Angel’s and Leo’s attention to detail and beautiful workmanship. It was a pleasure working with this team. We are VERY pleased with the results.

Great! The NDK team was led by Kate Couchman, and she and they did a wonderful job. The kitchen and the butler's pantry adjacent to the kitchen were all remodeled, and all of the contributors to the effort were excellent. First, I think, is that the finished product looks like what you thought it should look like, or better, and it does - it looks a lot better. Second, was the price quoted accurate and/or did it change (that is, go up)j as work was being performed. And the answer is No - everything was done according to plan and at the agreed upon price. And third, did we get good value for our money? Absolutely! The custom cabinetry work, the installation of the cabinetry, the electrical work, the work on the backsplash, the plumbing work, the hardwood floor addition, and the management and logistics for this work were all perfection. If the question is asked, would we do it again, the answer is Yes. And further, are we happy with and proud of the way our kitchen looks as a result of the work that was done by NDK: Yes. And would we recommend NDK to our neighbors and friends: Yes!

Nicely Done Kitchens and Bath renovated our small master bath this past Spring. They were very responsive in all areas of planning and completion. Rachel or Natalia stopped most days to check on progress and see if we had any questions. They all were a pleasure to work with.

There was no question as to who to approach for a partial kitchen renovation -- Nicely Done Kitchens and Baths has excellent reviews on Angie's List and it is a local business in place for 15 years. Clearly, they are doing something right. We did not seek estimates from any other companies, hence the reason for the N/A rating on the price. We are certain, however, that the cost of the work was perfectly in line with other companies. Working with Melissa as our designer we quickly selected the countertop design that best fit our needs. We have beautiful cherry wood cabinets and a gray tile floor and sought a quartz (maintenance free) design that would bring out both colors. Melissa presented us with a quartz pattern that perfectly enhanced the floor and cabinets. In short order we had selected our backsplashes as well. Moreover, Melissa stayed on top of the work throughout the process. Olivia served as our project coordinator and once we had selected our counters, backsplash tiles, a new sink, and the hardware she was able to schedule the work. It took no time at all -- Olivia scheduled three days for the demolition and installation approximately 10 business days after we signed the contract. Everything about the job was outstanding. Juan and his crew quickly removed the old counters and backsplashes and installed the new counters. Leo and Carlos did the tile work. Excellent work all around. There were some glitches along the way and this is what makes Nicely Done Kitchens and their fabricators/installers so wonderful. One curved portion of a main counter was not cut well and was quite lopsided. After close examination the fabricator agreed that the piece would have to be swapped out for a completely new piece -- at no small cost to the company. It was a costly and difficult decision for which the company had to eat the price of the new piece. BRAVO!! Nicely Done Kitchens and their fabricators and installers work very hard to ensure their clients are completely satisfied with the design and the work! It was difficult for us to ask for the correction as we were fully aware the request was not an inexpensive fix, but everyone agreed that the issue could only be resolved with a new counter section. Such attention to detail and the pride Leo takes in his work as a fabricator and installer is evident throughout. The tile work went smoothly and Leo and Carlos did a magnificent job. When planning such a large renovation be prepared for some delays and be sure to budget funds for additional costs that may occur due to choices you make as the client. We initially had some ideas for our backsplashes that did not meet our expectations. Carlos was able to quickly remove the tiles and suggested the appropriate changes, but our error in judgment required the purchase of additional tiles. We gladly ate the additional cost. Also, previous work on the floor of our kitchen required some creativity with respect to tiles to be installed beneath the main counter where we have several stools. Leo understood what was needed and quickly introduced a solution. Unfortunately, ordering the additional tiles caused a delay in the work and with a holiday approaching work had to cease for a week -- no fault of Nicely Done Kitchens. Olivia quickly adjusted the schedule and all of the work was completed as per the new schedule. Throughout the process, Melissa and Olivia visited our home on multiple occasions to ensure we were satisfied with the progress of the installation, to answer questions, and to see us through the process. The work crews could not have been more professional or more pleasant. Everyone who entered our home was courteous, friendly, and helpful. Would we recommend Nicely Done Kitchens? The answer is an emphatic, "YES!" In fact, we've already told Melissa that we have a bathroom that requires an upgrade. Nicely Done Kitchens will be our "go to" company for the job. And, as we did for our kitchen, we won't bother soliciting bids from other companies for Nicely Done Kitchens offers peace of mind that the work will be done efficiently, professional, and the finished product will look great!

We had a wonderful experience with NDK. Initially we had reached out to a few companies to get quotes to redesign our Kitchen and after reviewing the designs and quotes, we selected NDK. Natalia Fabisiak was our designer, who came home listened to what we were looking for and was able to produce a few different designs to choose from. She incorporated all of our ask and was pretty patient and great to work with. Due to certain previous work on the house by prior owners we hit a snag and had to decide on redesigning our master bathroom also, which extended our overall completion date. We wanted a hood that would vent outside and that became a bit of a challenge, but the teams were able to find a solution and designed it really well, that the end product looked like it was designed that way from the beginning. Natalia designed the bath and NDK was able to fit in the bathroom work also. We ended up working with a couple of different teams, Brian and his team for the kitchen and Steve and his team for the bathroom and additional beam support work. Both teams did a fantastic job on the kitchen and bathroom. Rachel De was our project manager and she was great to work with. Both Rachel and Natalia were always responsive, constantly monitoring the progress and kept us up to date on all the moving parts. All of them were absolutely wonderful to work with including the tradesmen, friendly, very professional and great quality work. We are absolutely in love with our new kitchen and bathroom.

We are very satisfied with our kitchen. We liked the idea of working with only 5 people for the entire project. No subs. They let us know the schedule daily and finished the kitchen a few days earlier than expected. We've had a few minor concerns and they were taken care of in a timely and satisfactory manner.

It was a pleasure working with them. We recently downsized, and the kitchen in our Ashburn home was dark, windowless and had very little countertop and storage space. Nicely Done Kitchens had remodeled the kitchen and bathrooms in our previous Herndon home, so they were the first and only call we made. We knew from experience that their design, quality of work and materials would be first rate. Now completed, our new kitchen is everything we hoped it would be: bright and functional, with lots of additional counter and storage space. Our designer, Natalia, gave us several options and worked with us until it was just what we wanted. The end result is beautiful, and the lighting in our glass door cabinets gives the illusion of windows when it just wasn't possible to add one. The tradesmen were wonderful, including the electrician, plumber and master carpenter. We could not be more pleased with our Nicely Done kitchen!

Everything went wonderfully! Not only did Nicely Done get a jump start on the demo to take advantage of my husband and I out of town 7+ days but the designer Kate Couchman worked with us to narrow down selection choices. We knew we wanted a white cabinet, non-busy quartz countertop but were uncertain about the backsplash and pull choices. I also REALLY appreciated her willingness to research how to be strategic with limited space I had in the existing design so as to ensure maximum storage options for me. It was wonderful to deal with Kate, Olivia Kwon and Steve Endress. They also connected us with ADU so we could get new high end fridge and dishwasher and handled delivery too. All in all Nicely Done knocked it out of the ballpark!!!!

The whole process was fantastic. From the moment I walked in the door I felt comfortable. Our designer was wonderful. She spent a lot of time with me. I have a hard time making decisions so she set up a time line schedule for us to pick out each separate item. For me this was extremely helpful. She was VERY patient with me and very flexible with her schedule. The contractor was super!! His crew was great! They were on time, friendly, and professional. The contractor texted me each morning to let me know what time they would be arriving. I knew in advance what was being done and when. The project manager kept the whole thing moving right a long. When the project was nearly finished and the PM did her walk through she noticed a couple tiny imperfections that I didn’t even notice. She said it wasn’t perfect and she would send the guys back to fix it. I can’t say enough good things about the total experience.

The remodel went very well. There was a little unexpected delay in getting some of the materials but it was well worth the wait of just a few days. We had 3 remodels done by Nicely Done Kitchens and would go to them again if we ever have to do another bathroom or kitchen remodel in the future.

We interviewed a couple of contractors before selecting NDK to completely redo 2 full bathrooms in our house. They responded to my first call immediately, sending 2 designers to our house to meet with us and discuss the project. Once we decided to hire them, they set up several meetings around our schedule to select all of the fixtures, tile, etc. One of the things we loved most about them is that they took care of everything except the decisions: they provided design options, handled all of the scheduling of the inspectors, and basically held our hands through the entire process. The project manager and designers were frequently at the house to monitor progress and keep us informed. And they were very responsive to all of our questions throughout the process, and quickly resolved unexpected issues that arose during the work. When a issue came up (mainly due to the age of our house), they always had multiple solutions/options for us to select from. They are somewhat expensive - and they told us from the beginning that they would not be the least expensive. But we felt like we got our money's worth - and now have two beautiful bathrooms. We will definitely consider using them again when it's time to remodel the kitchen.

We had such a wonderful experience with Nicely Done Kitchens from start to finish and we are thrilled with the end result, their pricing, and their fast turnaround time for our projects. A friend referred me to them specifically to their designer Jackie Lluy. Jackie worked miracles with the design of our kitchen. Our house is a center hall colonial and Jackie was able to create a design with an island when no other remodeling company could. Jackie was so easy to work with and with all her experience and eye for design she came up with a plan for our kitchen and baths that far exceeded our expectations. The contractor for our project was Steve Endress and his team - they were absolutely fantastic. Steve completed our job flawlessly without a single issue in record time. He and his team were so professional, did such an amazing job, and so far exceeded our expectations that I would never want to work with another team - I would hire them back in an instant for any other project and would highly recommend him and his team to our friends. Really thrilled with Nicely Done Kitchens and Bath and highly recommend them - specifically Jackie and Steve to anyone who needs a kitchen and bath remodel.
