MGN Pools

I called them last week and told them about my pool and the algae problem we had had the previous year. I talked to Max, who sounded very knowledgeable and asked him for a quote on an acid wash and opening the pool for the year. He asked basic info about how big the pool was, what kind of filter, etc. We have a in-ground cement 20k gal pool with a salt system and DE filter. He gave me a price that was very reasonable compared to the other quotes I had gotten. Then he asked me to email him my address and told me he would send somebody by that afternoon to start draining the pool. Awesome! Same day service  on my pool two weeks from Memorial Day!! The guy who showed up was clearly not in a company car and I had a moment of hesitation, but he was very efficient setting up the pump to drain the pool and was gone again in a few minutes. The next afternoon, Max and a coworker arrived in a more official looking Van and removed my cover. Then they set to work carefully acid washing the top tiles of the pool so as not to let any of the acid flow into my grass. When they finished the tiles were so clean that my cement pool deck looked grungy. I asked them if they could pressure wash the deck while they were there and they told me they could for a very good price, so I told them to go ahead. Then they got to work on acid washing the interior of the pool. It took a little longer than they expected, but after a few hours, the pool was clean. Then they set up my hose to refill it and told me to call them when it was full.  It filled up on a Sunday, so I called and left them a message. The next morning I got an email letting me know that there would be somebody by between 10-12am to finish opening my pool. Sure enough, at 10 am someone came by in a van and finished opening my pool. He set up the DE filter, put some chlorine tablets in the strainers to last me till I bought salt and even vacuumed the bottom of the pool so it looked amazing when he was done. My cover and all my pool supplies were stacked neatly in my shed. The pool looks better than I have seen it in the 5 years I have lived here. They did a good job at a reasonable price.
