It was one person for 4 hours then it was 2 people for 2 hours. I think they were here for like 15 minutes and then they had an argument and said they were walking out the door. I cocouldn'talk to anybody but when I called initially t book the appointment it was fine and I could understand what they were saying. Something was wrong but they couldn't figure it out. I like the deal that I got.

It was fine. However the 2 hour time limit per girl was bogus - they should send 1 girl for 4 hours or 2 girls for 4 hours. They worked hard but they had to rush and they missed spots. They were trying their best & did a good job considering the time they were at my home. The girls also couldn't speak English and couldn't understand me. They were able to come out quickly after I bought the deal; they called me right away to schedule.

Two gals came out and I specifically mentioned not to bother my clutter. I asked them to vacuum and clean the bathroom. She goes upstairs and is cleaning everything with a regular rag. I gave her one of my cleaning rags. I don’t think you should clean the floor and everything else with the same rag. I noticed that she didn’t clean the sink counter in the small bathroom at all. The girl who was vacuumed didn’t do a good job at all either. All of a sudden, they said that they have to go now – after 1.5 hours they left (2 people for 1.5 hours equal 3 hours). For $99 I was frustrated.

It was a Big Deal purchase. They're one of the two providers we got from Angie's List that we didn't have good experience with. There was no extra charge. It was supposed to be for four hours of cleaning but since two of them came out, then it would have been for two hours. However, they only worked for about 50 to 55 minutes. The house was completely empty. I asked them to sweep and mop the floors, clean the bathrooms, and clean the kitchen. They didn't clean one of the bathrooms and they didn't clean in the kitchen at all. There was a little bit of a communication barrier because neither one of them really spoke English so they couldn't understand when I was telling them that they didn't clean the kitchen. All they could say to me was that they did when it was obvious that they didn't; the stove top was still dirty and they didn't wipe the front of the appliances. Once I realized I wasn't going to be able to communicate with them, I just ended up doing the work myself. It was a great price but they weren't there the whole time. They were able to show up on time. I would not use them again.

The service was not at all what I thought or hoped it would be.
The big deal stated the following:
"Deal includes services ranging from deep cleaning of your kitchen, bathrooms, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and removing trash and more" and I still I emailed them ahead of time and confirmed that they would do a deep clean of two bathrooms. I didn't care if they spent a lot of time there as long as the job was done thoroughly.
When the two women came in they were pleasant but seemed to have their own agenda. They did not even ask me what I wanted done and it seemed they had not been told by Miral that I wanted them to focus on the bathrooms. I steered them towards those jobs and they cleaned up but it was not a deep clean by any means. When they were done with the bathrooms, instead of checking with me they just went about doing what they thought should be done, as if they had worked here for years and knew what the routine should be. I would never have hired anyone to fold blankets and make beds but it seemed that they may not have understood english well enough for me to communicate my expectations and correct the situation so it was just frustrating.
I never anticipated that a service would tell employees to open closed doors to clean. I thought a closed door universally means to stay out unless you get permission to enter. My daughter's bedroom door stays closed because she wants privacy and she was very upset to find that they entered her room and my son was awakened by them entering his room.
Also, when they had finished whatever agenda they had in their own minds, without asking if there was anything else to do or checking with me at all, they were heading out the door 45 minutes short of the four hours I paid for.
I would like to point out that I emailed Marina Maids to give Miral a chance to address my concerns before I reviewed their service. She apologized and said that she would send the same team back out again but it seems her offer may have been insincere because I've since sent two more emails to set it up and it's been well over a month and she has ignored my attempts to settle up.
I don't think there was any bad intention from the owner or the housecleaners. All of these issues could have been avoided with proper communication.

Very responsive and punctual, but little attention to detail while doing the actual cleaning. Whatever they used on the tiled floors was DANGEROUS and multiple people have slipped on the floors since. Additionally, payment was for 4 total hours and since there were 2 maids, we should have received 2 hours worth - however they were in and out in 1 hour and 15 minutes without asking if anything else needed to be done. Overall, I cannot recommend this deal or company to others.

They were fine. Two cleaners cleaned for one hour. They did very good work and were very industrious. They got it done very quickly. They were a little late for the appointment. I sent an email asking for an additional visit to make up the time to four hours.
