The big deal stated the following:
"Deal includes services ranging from deep cleaning of your kitchen, bathrooms, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and removing trash and more" and I still I emailed them ahead of time and confirmed that they would do a deep clean of two bathrooms. I didn't care if they spent a lot of time there as long as the job was done thoroughly.
When the two women came in they were pleasant but seemed to have their own agenda. They did not even ask me what I wanted done and it seemed they had not been told by Miral that I wanted them to focus on the bathrooms. I steered them towards those jobs and they cleaned up but it was not a deep clean by any means. When they were done with the bathrooms, instead of checking with me they just went about doing what they thought should be done, as if they had worked here for years and knew what the routine should be. I would never have hired anyone to fold blankets and make beds but it seemed that they may not have understood english well enough for me to communicate my expectations and correct the situation so it was just frustrating.
I never anticipated that a service would tell employees to open closed doors to clean. I thought a closed door universally means to stay out unless you get permission to enter. My daughter's bedroom door stays closed because she wants privacy and she was very upset to find that they entered her room and my son was awakened by them entering his room.
Also, when they had finished whatever agenda they had in their own minds, without asking if there was anything else to do or checking with me at all, they were heading out the door 45 minutes short of the four hours I paid for.
I would like to point out that I emailed Marina Maids to give Miral a chance to address my concerns before I reviewed their service. She apologized and said that she would send the same team back out again but it seems her offer may have been insincere because I've since sent two more emails to set it up and it's been well over a month and she has ignored my attempts to settle up.
I don't think there was any bad intention from the owner or the housecleaners. All of these issues could have been avoided with proper communication.

We do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you and you family, but we have to keep floors clean and shiny. We also have a NEXTRAQ system that tracks our employees and our vehicles, as to how long they were in a home and the arrival and departure of our employees. If they did not spend the time fully in your home, it is I think, because the team knows what to do and how to go about doing it in a timely manner. thank you again for your comment. management"
