Adam was at the house every day and provided interface between the subcontractors in the remodeling of the kitchen and adjacent rooms.  We could not have been happier.  I was gone for 2 weeks and my wife was gone for a different 2 weeks during the remodeling.  Adam was very patient and provided suggestions in the selection of materials and colors, in addition to quickly responding to change requests.  During most of the work Adam was an active participant in addition to overseeing the entire project.  The project started and finished on the day Adam projected which also included some minor handyman work at the end which we had been putting off due to the difficulty of coordinating the different handymen.  I would use him again in a heartbeat.

Kosna Design Remodeling did a fantastic job! Adam Kosna does beautiful work, has a great team of expert and conscientious subcontractors, and finished the job on budget and a week early. I got bids from multiple reputable contractors, and chose Adam because he came up with a great design, identified issues that others missed (such as areas where ductwork would interfere with putting cabinets), and came up with a better proposal at a comparable price. He took a collaborative approach to the project, offering thoughtful suggestions on design and functionality and explaining why one approach might work best but not insisting on doing things a given way. He sets a high standard for work and ensures that all aspects of the project meet it, identifying and correcting minor problems (for instance, replacing materials that arrived with scratches I probably wouldn't even have noticed) so that the final result is stunning.

Adam was honest about when he could start and finish the project, building in time to finish his previous project before beginning this one; he began as scheduled and worked straight through to finish early. He did a great job of sequencing the work to minimize disruption and protecting the rest of the house from dust and damage. Several neighbors also commented on how considerate he and his colleagues were in minimizing any inconvenience to them. I couldn't be happier with the result, and would enthusiastically recommend Kosna Design Remodeling to anyone planning a home renovation project.

Adam Kosna was recommended to us by a friend and he submitted a proposal to us along with several other highly recommended contractors. Even though his bid was a bit higher than the others, we chose Kosna Designs because after speaking with Adam and reviewing his detailed proposal, we felt confident he had the experience and knowledge to do the job well. Spending a little more to have Kosna Designs do the work paid for itself in so many other ways, we really felt like it was a great value in the end.
Adam is wonderful to work with, as is his partner Alan, and both of them are extremely hard-working, talented and really show a commitment to doing the highest quality work. Everything was done with such care and attention to detail, including their careful effort to contain the workspace in plastic barriers to keep dust out of the rest of the house and clean up at the end of each day.
Adam is also very honest and forthright, so it is easy to communicate with him. We already had a design before we found Adam, but he was able to make several very helpful suggestions for changing it in small ways that were helpful in trimming costs, but also made our kitchen plan more workable and comfortable to use.
With Kosna Designs, our project was completed quickly and on time. It was completed exactly on budget. Working with Kosna Designs was a pleasure. They really did an exceptional job.
