Jon David Salon

David is an expert! I am very particular about my hair and he knew exactly how to treat it and keep it healthy through the highlight and color. He did high and low lights. The cut was perfect and my hair felt sensational after he was done. He has a lot of knowledge on different types of hair. He gave me great advice on who to shampoo and condition and how often to do it. I have been following his advice and my hair is stronger and more amazing than 2 months ago. Thank you David and amazing staff! I will be back!

Worst haircut and experience of my life. My cut is so awful, I cry a little when I look in the mirror. My only consolation is that my hair will grow back. I haven't had a cut this bad since an accidental mullet happened in high school. About the actual cut: I asked for an inch off, my stylist, Caroline, cut 4. I asked for layers in the front, there are none. The only layers in my hair are from a prior haircut. There are wisps of hair throughout that are longer than the rest and were clearly missed. I asked for layers in the back, there are maybe some at 1/2 inch. That's it. My bangs are uneven and longer on one side than the other. My stylist had someone else blow dry one side while she did the other. It was way too hot, and not something pleasant to experience on a 103 degree day. I guess the only thing I can credit her with is that she could tell I was unhappy and asked what I needed but by that point I just wanted her to get away from my hair. As far as the customer service aspect, Caroline could not have been more bothered to be cutting my hair. It was like I inconvenienced her. She never introduced herself, and spent pretty much the entire time trying to talk me out of anything that required something other than the basic straight cut. When it became obvious I was not happy, she turned to fake saccharine sucking up. For example, she pretended I looked young enough to be my daughter's sister. I am 42, she is 11, we do not look like sisters. Telling me how beautiful I am. Sounds nice but was so totally fake it was offensive. It was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Needless to say, I will never go back. I had hoped to find a salon for ongoing haircuts for my daughter and I and wanted a good one since I do want to begin coloring my hair. I had heard such great things about this salon. Now I am busy telling and showing all my friends exactly how awful my haircut is so they can spare themselves the experience.

Really liked my hair cut , fast and easy ... Did exactly what I told them to do

Saw Caroline for the first time.  She listened!  My hair was done just the way I asked!  She gave me a partial highlight that really accented my face and didn't break the bank.  She did a great job, and from now on, she's my go-to stylist!  Highly recommended!  I was seen right away, she was open and friendly, and actually heard what I had to say!  I am so impressed!!

It is convenient. It is close to where I live and the service for my type of hair is very good. I will continue to use them. I was lucky to find them at the beginning and they are very good at styling my type of hair which is very difficult to find.

I've had my hair cut twice by the same Expert level stylist at Jon David Salon in Springfield. She was very nice, but the cut was not very good either time. I went back the second time just to give it one more chance, but I won't go back again. I thought that by picking a stylist in the "Expert" category I could be sure I was getting a skilled stylist, but my cuts were not good either time. 
I would also caution that the hair washing can be a bit painful. They spend a long time massaging your head and my neck was pressed against the hard rim of the wash basin. If I were to return to this salon I think I would wash my hair before I came and ask them not to wash it.

My stylist did a pretty good job fixing my hair for the holidays.  I did a home dye job using a bright plum/ pink color that didn't take very well in my hair but left seriously bright pink tufts in my bangs and the sides.  Went to the Jon David salon to get my hair back to my natural color (black).  It took two rounds of hair dye to balance out the red.  The stylist was rushing the dye job with me and getting hair dye all over my face while trying to manage highlights on another client.  Thankfully hair dye eventually fades from skin, but she still should have been more careful.  I did like the haircut alot and the fact that she got the style that I wanted down perfectly.  Overall, not a bad experience but probably best to go when things are a little slower so that you don't walk out with dye all over yourself.
