JMA Painting did a great job and were able to do the work without delay.

Great - professional and personable. Most importantly, all parts of the job, especially the MULTIPLE patches on our dry wall/ceiling that required repair. It looked as good as new. He does more things other than drywall too.

paid $1200 for two walls to be patched, too expensive for the work done.

Jorge is really nice and professional and his quote was fair for the work he had to do. Overall, the project went ok but he had an employee do the actual painting. I had found that they missed a spot that needed be re-painted/needed some kilz. Not sure how his worker didn't see this since it was a dark line going from the outlet down the wall. Jorge was really nice and professional about it and made sure they took care of it before they left. However, now that it's dry it needs more paint so I will just take care of it myself. Also, they did not clean before paining. My light fixture had a ton of dust and they even left dust on top of the outlets so i had to get out my ladder to clean all the dust from the light fixture. To me, I would think they would wipe the dust up prior to painting. I will say they did clean the floor at least. Overall, I probably would hire them again but would pay closer attention as the work is getting done.

Working with JMA was a breeze. We set up a time to come provide an estimate over email and they returned the next day to do the work. It was a fairly small job, had zero issues. They even matched the texture of the painting. I would definitely hire this business again.

Great work, great price

Jorge did an amazing job with painting our children's rooms. I was able to schedule the estimate quickly, and he offered to come in to do the job only a few days after. He impressed me so much that I even cancelled the other estimate I had scheduled for the following week. He worked extremely hard to get both rooms painted in one day, even though he had a team member call out that morning. He did not cut any corners even though he completed the painting quickly, and his skill really shows. He did not leave a mess, nor did he take any long breaks (in fact, I don't even think he took a break!). We have worked with other painters, who did take long breaks and/or left messes. I paid him in full that day, and he was to return to do the power-washing another day. I had no doubt that he would return, since he is true to his word, and he did an excellent job with the power-washing as well. We have had experiences with previous contractors who did not finish the job and/or took the money and ran. Not so with Jorge. He is extremely friendly, respectful, and most importantly, he did excellent quality work. In addition, I am usually alone in the house with the children and am extremely careful about who we schedule to do contract work with. Jorge never made us feel uncomfortable, on the contrary, he was always extremely friendly and patient with my kids (even when they were sneaking upstairs to look at their rooms). They even told me, "We like Jorge!" He is a family man and an outstanding contractor. We will not hesitate to call him again for any of our painting, power-washing, or needs.

We had water damage from poor craftsmanship when our house was built. Jorge showed up on time and completed the work much faster than expected. He fixed some additional deficiencies that he discovered while working and didn't add anything to the cost. He was very professional, polite and easy to work with. He cares about customer satisfaction.

JMA Cleaning does my 2000 sq. ft. house weekly. They are very professional and perform all the services contracted for w/o prompting. They adhere to their weekly schedule. They are very trustworthy. They are open to negotiating additional tasks. All in all, they do a better job than I ever did in a very dependable manner.

JMA was actually early and what was quoted as a 2 day job, they were able to finish in one day. They took the job with short notice and a tight deadline and completed all of the work. They were very professional, punctual and knowledgeable. I would definitely hire them again.

Jorge Alvarado, the owner, gave us a very fair estimate for the work and was available to start within 2 days. He communicates and lets you know when he will be there and shows up on time. He and his coworkers obviously know their business and went about their work efficiently and professionally. The end result was perfect. No issues whatsoever. This company is everything you would hope to find in a business -- quality work at a fair price. If you have any type of home repair, you'd be well-served to call JMA because chances are they can help you out. I am not related to anyone in this company, nor have I been paid for this review. Outstanding!! Jorge contacted me immediately, showed up to give an estimate the next day, followed up with me as I got other estimates, showed up the next work day after I hired him, and finished ahead of schedule, plus I think I got a great price. The best part is that I am doing a lot of the work on our den renovation myself, and he took the time to understand what I was trying to do and was flexible in tailoring his services and price to precisely what I wanted done. He was polite, courteous, and very professional - my wife was very comfortable with him and his team, and she has asked him to prepare estimates for additional work. I would recommend him for any sort of drywall or painting work.

We have used Jorge (JMA) and his crew twice. The first time was for drywall repair and painting of a townhouse we were preparing to sell. The second time was for painting a new home that we bought after selling the townhouse. Obviously we think they do a very good job. They are good about scheduling the work around the times that you want them to, and Jorge is very conscientious about making sure you are happy with their work. In places where we saw that they missed some things, there was never any hesitation to go back and make it right. Their rates are better than most other painters we compared them with. We like them and would hire them again if needed.

I contacted Jorge on a Wednesday at 3p...he was at my house at 4:30 giving the estimate for the work. We agreed to a 9a start two days later on a Friday, and he was 5 minutes early! He and his crew were professional and courteous, Jorge even had a specialty cleaner come in to ensure the cleaning was done to my liking. I can's say enough about the service JMA provided! My go to company from now on.

Jorge is our new go-to handyman. He fixed everything as promised within a timely manner. He is responsive and professional. He communicated everything very clearly during the process. I recommend JMA/Jorge to everyone asking for anyone looking for someone to help with home improvements.

We appreciated Jorge's fine workmanship when he replaced my kitchen ceiling drywall and other drywall repair. He was able to work with me to schedule this 8' x 13' ceiling replacement within the limited time between lighting fixture box placement and my scheduled blown-in attic insulation. They took great care to control dust and to protect all finishes. They demonstrated respect and professionalism at all times. I would definitely call JMA for my next drywall or painting project.

JMA are really kind, no bad language and clean up after themselves. We were on a tight budget and tight timeline. They came right from one job to ours and still had a few punch out times to complete there. so the start of our job was slow. Once it got going it went much better and the communication smoothed out. The ending was very strong, their eye for detail was much better than mine, the owner wanted it done to his specifications thus it turned out very well. I would have them back again. DSR

This company was a real pleasure to work with!  The estimate was provided via email and pictures I sent and the workers were scheduled rapidly (within one week).  When they arrived, they were prompt and worked efficiently until they were complete.  Upon completion they cleaned up and left the place as if they had never been here.   I also had a very small blemish in another part of the ceiling and they fixed that for me at no additional charge.   I will definitely use this company again!

Jorge Alvarado and his team finished in less time than expected, and I was very pleased with them.  I would recommend their work, and I'm about to contact them for some additional drywalling.  Respectful, unassuming, good hard workers.  Concerned about the customer's wishes and satisfaction.  Worked quietly and didn't need supervision.  I will need to do a bit of cleaning up (drops of paint in some places where they didn't put runners), but that's been true of all contractors I've hired.
