JR Roofing & Siding was the only roofing company to respond to a cry for help after a severe wind storm tore off part of my roof. They were professional and responsive all the way through the repairs. I am pleased with the work done.

I had JR replace my roof less than 10 years ago and part of the roof that is over the patio is flat and now needs replacing again. And there’s no flashing in areas.

I had another roofer look at my roof. They wanted to charge me over $2000.00. JR Roofing came gave me a quote for $400. They did the work and I don't have a leak anymore. I definitely recommend them.

They did a great job on all of the units & also out of goodwill they went above & beyond to help me resolve a separate issue for my unit that was not their responsibility. Very grateful for true customer service.

The tear down of the original roof went quickly and cleanup was done very well. They brought along a small generator to power their compressor, needed to use the pneumatic nailer guns they used for the new roof. I instead let them use my power which they greatly appreciated. It also avoided the noise and pollution of using a small gas generator.
As noted above, the decking which was from the original construction, almost 40 years old, was in bad shape and they suggested replacing it all which I agreed to after seeing what they were talking about. That decision was immediately implemented and while most of the crew removed the old decking, two of the crew went to the local Lowe's to buy what they needed. That meant there was no delay in the work progress, but that decision did make the job a two day effort instead of a single day effort. There was never a mention of that change causing any delay other than the overall completion taking two days.
As they got the decking off it occurred to me that it was an ideal time to add attic insulation, which I had planned to do but dreaded the work effort to push the insulation into place under the eve area. It would be simple to do the area near the eves then because that area would be totally open. I went to Lowe's and bought what I needed and they helped me install the first few strips the full length of the house without any extra charge. (It only took 10 minutes since the area was open, but would have taken me hours of uncomfortable work to push that into place from inside the closed attic.)
They worked late the first day to ensure the new decking was complete and fully covered with tar paper (and weather dam over the eves) before they left, just in case the good weather changed unexpectedly and to prevent any dew from getting the new decking wet. They used special plastic washer nails to secure the tar paper to ensure that any surprise winds would not damage it.
They did damage one window screen when throwing the old decking into their dump truck. They took that screen with them and returned it properly repaired in a few days, even matching the screen material perfectly so it still matches the adjacent window. They apologized for the accident and there was never any question that they would do that repair. I was surprised how quickly they returned the repaired screen.
On day two they arrived early and completed the work without incident. They also left me two bundles of shingles to store for any repairs that may be needed in the future.
Payment terms were 1/3 of original bid price at signing of contract and net 30 on the balance. They did NOT ask for a larger down payment when I decided to change to upgraded shingles, or even after the decking replacement work was added. After paying the final bill I was emailed a receipt in pdf format marked paid and a separate page with the warranty terms, five year full warranty from JR Roofing, and 30 year manufacturer warranty on the shingles.
I would strongly recommend them for any roofing repairs or full roof replacement based on my experience.

We saw a small water spot on a bedroom ceiling. J.R. Roofing came to the house within two days of our phone call. They identified the problem and inspected the roof for any additional issues. As promised, the repairs were made within a week. We were very impressed with their professional manner, responsiveness and knowledge. Would definitely use this company again.

We have used J.R. Roofing prior to joining Angie's list. We actually first heard of them through a contractor who finished our basement. I did not realize they were on Angie's List until just recently. I was glad to see my experience with them, which has always been great, was the same as others on Angie's List. As in the past, their responsiveness is excellent. Their staff is very personable. Billy is the contractor who has always worked on our roof and done an excellent job. He not only takes care of the repair but keeps us posted on the overall condition of our roof. As we have a wooded lot, and very steep roof, he also takes the time to remove any large debris while he is up on our roof. We appreciate that as we never get up there ourselves. We have always been happy with their services.

While it took two days for them to come out after a horrible storm (they had lots of calls), a second call into their office delivered a repair person in about 40 minutes. He got the job done quickly, found another small problem and fixed it, and checked the other gutters without being asked. Fair price. Polite and professional, friendly. Would use again.

Our 30 year old rental townhouse had major issues with the fascias and soffits and the woodwork around the windows was deteriorating and would soon be a major problem. J.R. Roofing and Siding gave us a very competitive bid and were easy to work with finalizing our job - in part due to the fact that they have done other work in the neighborhood and are familiar with the HOA requirements. Their crews were on time did a wonderful job replacing the soffits, cladding the windows, and installing new gutters and downspouts. The house looks lovely -- neighbors stopped by to get references even while the crew was hard at work and continue to do so. When the roof needs to be replaced in a few years, they will be at the top of our list of roofers.
