HOLIDAY TERMITE & PEST CONTROL

After seeing a baby mice in the house, I called Holiday Termite and Pest Control. The woman who answered the phone was very friendly and could sense my concern. She promptly sent their Technician Leonard Scott out the very next day. Leonard was very polite and knowledgeable. After Leonard's assessment he eased my mind and I decided to contract with Holiday Termite and Pest Control to make sure that no more critters enter my house. I have been very satisfied with Holiday's performance and would recommend them.

They are always responsive, prompt, knowledgeable and courteous. We've had to deal with a variety of pests in our commercial buildings and our home - mice, rats, carpenter bees, ants. All taken care of by them. We highly recommend them.

Researching (and choosing among) the various ways to professionally treat a home for termites is frustrating and time-consuming for a lay person like me. After hours and hours of research, and talking with several companies, I concluded that the so-called "bait" system of prevention was not to my liking. I wanted a Termidor HE liquid treatment around the entire foundation of the house.

It then became an even bigger chore to find a trustworthy and reliable company to do a Termidor HE liquid treatment around the foundation of our three story colonial home. [The drilling part of the application process is nowhere near as invasive as I had thought; the value of the preventive treatment far exceeds the slight amount of drilling of patio slabs, concrete steps, etc. And they fill those holes with a liquid concrete or asphalt filler that fills the small holes as good as new.]

I met with several companies at our house, and researched many more. One company told us we had a small termite presence in front of our house; my neighbor had actual termite damage inside his house. We knew we needed to do a
preventive treatment. Cost was not an issue, since termite damage can be a huge uninsured loss, and I do not want to be "penny wise, pound foolish."

There is a high level of just plain TRUST that has to go into selecting a termite company. Locally owned and operated Holiday Termite and Pest Control was the only company with whom I felt totally comfortable, so we arranged a Termidor HE treatment. Company owner Mr. Dixon was prompt, professional, and thorough when we met with him. He satisfactorily
answered all questions. His technicians who did the treatment were equally professional, prompt, and (I think) thorough.
The very complimentary reviews of Holiday Termite online and on Angie's List are deserved. So far as I know, we got the best possible preventive treatment for termites from Holiday.

Although we are only now a week since the treatment, we have nothing but the highest regard for Holiday Termite, Mr. Dixon, and the technicians who did the treatment around our 190 linear foot foundation (Raymond was the lead tech on our job). All holes made in mortar, concrete, and asphalt were filled in to four satisfaction, and the drilling (in our separate places around the house) were only minimally invasive. No one but us will even notice where they drilled and where they then plugged the drill holes.

It's important to me to have a small, reliable, local company do work such as this. Holiday Termite is small enough to really care whether or not we are happy. They've been around for more than 20 years, and I suspect their longevity has something to do with the fact that others have been pleased with their work. And, although it was not a factor in our decision to choose Holiday, I can also say that their price was the lowest we found. I look forward to working with them again in the years to come.

I love Holiday. We first used them in 2012 right after we bought our house. One Sunday evening we were invaded by hundreds of ants. Shot off an email to the company around 8pm and had a response about 5 min later. Tech was out first this Monday morning to treat the problem. It worked. No more ants in the house until this summer. Same routine- emailed Cleveland to set up an appointment. Our schedules didn't mesh so they came out about 5 days later (not a big deal since the ants seemed to have disappeared by then). Guys came out again and sprayed the usual places and while inspecting discovered we had a freeloading mouse renting out our basement. That problem was taken care of too. Highly recommend Holiday. They're professional, on time, courteous and answer all the dumb questions you might have. Added plus: they wear booties on their shoes when they're in the house.

I have an annual contract with them. I had some rodents come during the winter; they came right out to set traps. I have used them before and their service is good. They have two levels for pricing. I got the highest level which is $99 for a quarter and I think the other one is $59. I have a fairly large house. I have been using them from the last one year and this is the second year so I have renewed the contract with them. I will be staying with them for a while. I know I can get this service cheaper but I don't know if it is worth going cheaper. They are excellent in being punctual.

I was very impressed and very happy with them. The termite was expensive. They showed up and did things on specific time. The whole crew was very pleasant. Their service was good. They showed up when they said they would. Their follow up was good. They gave me a time and they were here at the same time. I would use them in the future.

Their price is reasonable. I was referred to them by my tenant. We had ants creeping up on the exterior of my house and they came in many times and they fixed the problem for us. They were very responsive. I would rate them high overall and would continue to use them in the future.

They are excellent. We have an annual contract with them. Their employees are courteous and they come on time. They come right on schedule. They do a good job with everything. They are excellent and we would recommend them strongly.
