They told me that I would be called early on the day of my appointment to tell me when the installer would come to my house. At 9am I called the office and they said the installer did his own routing and they couldn't reach him so they left a message telling him to call me. After just about hourly calls to the office (where I was twice disconnected as they tried to put me on hold)  including talking to a supervisor, it was 4pm before I heard that I was the last stop and he'd be at my house at 4:45. The installer had broken his phone over the weekend and had no backup. The company obviously has no training and the staff has no concern over an entire days worth of clients who were left hanging. The installer certainly could have asked to use the phone while at a customer's site, the supervisors could have called the people on the route to try to track him down but none of this was done. A case study of poor customer service.  Be prepared to have exact change, write a check, or have your credit card info written down on a piece of paper and taken back to the office. 
After the installer was done and left, I saw that the glass was not cleaned, had flecks on the outside and smears on the inside.

Great. Showed up on time, looked at the chip and crack, and said it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. He fixed it in 10 minutes and went on his way. Very friendly and professional. He did say that this fix might last "only" a few years, and you would still be able to see the chip - so I could replace it but this should last long enough for my purposes on my 11 year old car.

I was assigned to Glass America by my insurer to replace my damaged windshield. They proved impossible to deal with. They did not show at scheduled appointments, or did not have what they needed, or were late. They never expressed any apologies, nor did they ever call to reschedule. After 6 weeks, I gave up and sought another option from my insurer. This company is among the worst for customer service I have ever encountered.
