About us
Marty Engel is the business owner and meets with all his customers for floor covering selection. He brings samples of wood floors, tile and wall to wall carpet to the job site and personally measures/inspects areas for new carpet, floors, steps, railings and refinishing of existing wood floors. He prepares detailed written Proposals and has worked with the same team of installers for almost 20 years. He is also a factory dealer, for almost 30 years with industry leaders such as Shaw Industries, Mohawk Carpet, and others. Floorcraft provides professional service from clear communication to timely installation, clean up and follow through after the sale. Referrals are their best source of business. Experience has taught the team players at Floorcraft that there is always room to grow and learn. Problems are only solutions if approached with a positive attitude. This is the second office location that Marty has replaced flooring for me. He met with me the next day to pick out the flooring that I wanted and started work the following Monday. His crew was professional and did a great job!

Floorcraft got the work scheduled quickly and it looks beautiful. Marty followed up that afternoon to make sure I was happy with the work done. When it's time for me to replace the upstairs carpet, I will definitely be giving Marty a call.

Fantastic job. I called and left a message for Marty Engel, the owner, and he returned my call promptly. I explained I was looking for an estimate for carpet installation and another for wood floor refinishing. We figured out a date for him to stop by. He looked around, took measurements and he showed me carpet samples. I chose a product and he sent me the estimates later that day. We chose to go with only the carpet install only because we decided to wait to refinish the floors until after we redo some bookshelves. When we decide to refinish the wood floors I would be happy to schedule with him. We had the carpet installed a couple weeks later only because of my scheduling conflicts- I think the carpet took less than a week to get in?. Installation went smoothly and Max and the other installer were very nice. I had to leave before the job was finished and I felt comfortable leaving them to finish up and lock the doors after them. They left everything very clean and even fixed a threshold that was too low and wobbly. I would highly recommend!

It went smoothly. Because we have a young child, we don't have a lot of spare time, but Marty, the owner accommodated our schedule by meeting us on a Saturday for an estimate. He was professional, quick, and wasn't trying to oversell anything. The install team was prompt, and everything went as planned.

Super price, fast install and very responsive to questions and concerns. I highly recommend Marty and his company. I got multiple bids and the big guys were crazy high. Marty's price was super and I had confidence based on his years in this business that he will be around to take care of any problems (not likely) that I might have in the future. This was a competitive bid. Floorcraft did previous carpet installation 15 years ago. Also, installed hardwood floor in living room. The carpet installers, Max and Julio, are artists. Everything done well, no damage, and good job of cleaning up.

Marty's team sanded and refinished badly damaged hardwood floors in five rooms plus stairs and hallways in our house. They look like new again! We had a miscommunication over the sheen of the finish which Marty quickly remedied at his own cost. The work was completed in exactly the time stated and the crew cleaned up. There was very little dust in the house when we moved back in. We are really happy with how our hardwood floors look and we would not hesitate to use Floorcraft again for any flooring job.
