I have had Famm Floorcovering put carpet into 4 homes so far and not only is Akbar a professional who is willing to give advice, but his workers are really fast. They show up and do the work and get outta there without any hassle. The entire process is easy and I don't worry about the carpet install when renovating a house anymore...I just call Akbar.

When we called to begin work, he said that he refuses to work for us, and he kept our $150.

I am in the midst of getting an entire power plant installed and was advised by a third party abatement company that though there were no signs of asbestos in the ducting that the flooring surrounding that area should be checked.  The tests came back positive for the flooring as well as the mastic.  Upon trying to schedule the install of the HVAC system, the company has become CONCERNED for their workers' safety.  I needed an unbiased opinion as to possible harm if the company simply came as tried to remove the HVAC system without abatement of the flooring in that area.  Mr.  Dehghani, Akbar indicated that under normal circumstances his company would work with the HVAC company to abate after furnace was removed.  Since this has appeared to be a problem setting up with HVAC company, I asked what the probably for concern would be if in fact some of the tiles were disturbed during removal.  He assured me (without his company being involved at all) that there would be little danger with the removal.  Hence, I am able to make a decision with some peace of mind and move on.  Though this company has not been contracted for anything, I will certainly try to use them for later flooring problems in the future as I still have asbestos flooring in other parts of my basement.

The work performed performed by Akbar has been in the repair of carpeting and the procurement and installation of new carpeting. I would highly recommend him for similar work.
