The estimator arrived on time. He was very professional and actually noticed some additional cracking I had not seen. He explained why it was occurring in this location. He explained in detail what was required to repair it and gave what I felt was a reasonable estimate for the work required.
Once I accepted the estimate, the team was scheduled to complete the work within a week. The work was done extremely well. He matched the color and special detailing in the mortar. It was done very neatly. He cleaned everything up prior to leaving.

So my flat roof leaked while I was away from vacation for a month; so I looked up roofers on Angie's list and picked this roofer because they said that they were able to come right away. The salesman was very professional and I don't doubt the quality of their work. However,after major remodeling projects I am not prepared financially to do a full replacement at the moment even with financing. I contacted my insurance company and she recommended that I contact Exterior Medics back to do an emergency tarping before it rains. They came out and for $595.00 covered part of the roof of where they suspected the leak.
Meanwhile, the insurance adjustor came with a roofer to check their work and due to wind the tarp came loose and also discovered that they have inserted several nails to hold the tarp on a flat roof that is already leaking. So the insurance company ask that I call them back to seal the holes that they made. The secretary was prompt and sent the invoice via email and informed me that they will get back with me.
The insurance roofer said that the roof still can last 2 to 3 years if repaired and re-sealed if I am not ready to replace it now. At this point the nails just aggrevated the leak problem. When I do replace the roof a year from now, not sure if I can trust this company to do it. Not a very good impression with this minor job.

Exterior Medics was the 3rd company to bid on replacing our beat-up aluminum siding; the first two bids ranged from $12k to $50k so we weren't sure what we were getting into. Mason Arthur, the sales rep, showed up after we had to postpone once (plus they were booked out one week when we first called, always a good sign) and from the get-go it was obvious he knew what he was talking about. He had already driven around our neighborhood to see the rest of the homes so his recommendation for siding was exactly what we were looking for. Of the 3 bidders, he was the only one to recommend we not replace our shutters and told us to paint them instead. He also went up into the attic and then told us we didn't need to replace our soffits, and spotted carpenter bee damage that even our pest company of ten years had missed. Sign us up. He then recommended a company they often work with to repaint the exterior trim and power wash the brick facade. Even better, they coordinated the schedules so the siding work started once the painting was done--plus they arranged to get additional paint so the Exterior Medics crew could take care of repainting the new fascia boards. What we especially appreciated was the professionalism of everyone in this company--competent crews that always cleaned up each day, managers coming by to inspect work on a regular basis, and end of the day phone calls from the main office to make sure everything was going well, plus keeping us up-to-date on the schedule (which was, of course, weather-dependent).
If it were possible to give higher grades than all As, this company definitely earned it. Every request we made was handled promptly and no issue was too small to overlook. And the cookies were pretty darned good, too.

A few days later, the company sent a man out to measure the windows and they were ordered with about a 3-4 week timeframe.
When the time finally came, we scheduled the window installation first and then the siding. Due to prior poor weather resulting in jobs needing to be completed before mine, they didn't come on the day they were supposed to. I called the company and we determined that I basically got lost in the shuffle and someone forgot to call me to reschedule. We rescheduled, but what happened next was shocking. I received a call from the owner expressing his sincere apologies and then they sent me a restaurant gift card to make up for the inconvenience. A+ in customer service!
On the day of the job, the crew showed up an effiiciently installed the windows and door without a hitch. The next day, the siding crew showed up and removed all of the old siding, repaired wood rot and got to work. Again, this is a three story house we're talking about and they did everything without a hitch. Installation took a while, but I didn't mind because I didn't feel like they were rushing and were doing a fantastic job. Everything looked fantastic and they cleaned up all debris when they were finished. Great job Exterior Medics!
One more thing to add. My wife and I are both gov't employees. The final balance was due right at the time of the shutdown that lasted three weeks. In that time of uncertainty, we were nervous to part with that much money. Exterior Medics allowed us to get through the furlough before paying the remainder, and for that I am very grateful. This company is great in every way and when our budget permits us to complete the remainder of our windows, you better believe I'll be calling them. Thank you Exterior Medics!
