My experience was all really good. It was top rate. It was great.

The Costco auto buying program where we live in was fabulous. The car I wanted was the 2012 Hyundai Elantra; they call it the hot car now, it was the car of the year and everything. They won't deal in price in any way shape or form in any dealership in the area. Then I went to Costco auto buying program on their website, signed up, and they sent me a deal in our area for the only one that was willing to deal with it on the Elantra. We went and talked to him and they weren’t allowed to jack up any prices and they had to sell it to us on invoice price. There was virtually no hassle at all. The difference between that and going to other dealerships in the area is $1400 difference. It works very well. Costco checks up on the dealership to make sure they give it for the price that was promised through Costco. Costco called me back the next day to make sure that everything was okay. Something was going on with the other dealership and I stepped away and called Costco to tell them what was going on. Costco said that they couldn’t do that, they would take care of it, and they took care of it. Their assistance was great. After we picked up the car, they sent me a $50 gift certificate to use at the dealership sometime over the next 6 months for any service or purchase I want to make there for accessories or whatever. If I had bought a used car from the same dealership, they would have given us $250 in Costco cash, but we didn’t get a used car. Since we bought the car, we get emails from the auto buying program once a month saying they have other special deals with the same dealership. I got an email coupon the other day for 15% off on any service of my choice or $20 oil change up to a certain date. It was definitely worthwhile. We didn’t know what to think of it when we first started looking into it, but it turned out to be a pretty good deal.
