Bottom line – Not Recommended. I have gone to Cardinal Plaza Shell for the past 7 or 8 years and they used to be truly outstanding. They have unfortunately had a massive culture shift in the previous year or so and have gotten complacent and sloppy. About half of the customer facing employees are still great, the other half can’t be bothered to find out the answer to simple questions. A couple of first-hand examples – about a year ago, after an oil change, I found oil dripping in my driveway and got underneath only to find they failed to tighten the oil filter. The next incident was several months later when they failed to reinstall two lugnuts on a wheel after a tire rotation, and finally, which is what ended the relationship, they botched a brake job so badly I was lucky to make it back there for them to fix. This was truly dangerous. They continue to do some great work still – sometimes – the problem is with the sloppiness; you never know when that might be and it just isn’t worth the risk. They charge premium prices for frequently shoddy work, making a decision to go elsewhere an easy one. Do yourself a favor and don’t take the risk.

They are really good. They will pick you up at your house or will take you to your house free of charge. I tip the guy but if you don't have money for a tip it is okay. They started this about a year ago.

I think the quality of their work is high. They are very prompt. They are very polite and pleasant in dealing with you. The only thing that I don't like is I think their prices are somewhat high.
