Cecil power washed the house before beginning the staining. He always came out when he said he would. When the staining began his crew was very good. I was especially pleased with the caulking work. The results of the staining were not as good as I would have liked. Many parts of the siding displayed a flashing of the paint. It looked to me as if the stain had not been brushed out. When I questioned Cecil he said he followed the manufactures (Olympic) recommendations. The siding had not been stained for over 12 years and the Olympic representative thought that was causing the flashing. Cecil said he tried everything he could to get a better result to even staining some sections three different times. He thinks that after time it will improve. The manufacture believes if it is re-stain in a year it will look better. Overall the house looks much better then before it was stained. While I was disappointed in the final outcome I'm not sure it was Cecil's vault.
