I have been a customer of Bob and Carolyn for more than 20 years.  They are wonderful people and do great work. It's also a great place for kids. Both of my sons (now in there early 20s) had their first haircuts there, and they still talk about their fond memories of getting haircuts at Bob's--"Mr. Bob" and "Ms. Carolyn," the children's books, the toys, and of course, the lollipops. My daughter, when she was young, would also tag along, and Carolyn would do her hair.  For anyone with children in Springfield, Virginia, this is the place to get their hair cut.

Bob's Barbershop is great.  Great people with a homey atmosphere and for the right price.  Bob and Carolyn have been partners for years.  The shop hosts a family atmosphere with a picture and certificate for baby's first  haircut.  Driving up to the building doesn't excite one but the shop on the 7th floor is clean, bright and cheerful.

I arrived at the building and took the elevator to the 7th Floor. Carolyn saw me immediately. Everyone in the shop was kind and polite. I got a great haircut and my first beard trim ever. Unique setting for a classic barber shop. Very pleasant experience

I have little hair on top, so that's not much of an issue. But finding a barber who can actually do a beard trim is a rare thing indeed. Carol shaped it and made it look better than it ever looked. You can go to any of the ubiquitous Asian barbers popping up everywhere, but you won't get a better cut or a better deal than at Bob's.

I've been seeing Bob for years. His wife also works with him, and they have a couple of other barbers. It's sort of like going to a bar, and talking with a friendly bartender. He does a good job considering I don' have much hair to work with. I would recommend Bob, and of course I will continue to use his services.

I have using Bob's for perhaps15 years or more. This is an old fashioned barber shop,not a hairdresser or stylist. Bob himself is a super barber and he has a small staff, including his wife. He delivers exactly what is requested and makes suggestions. His shop is in the Tower and so may be missed from the road. Bob knows about t everything going on in Springfield - an extra benefit.
