BEST GRANITE & MARBLE

Ali Gulsen did a fabulous job on cutting a piece of marble that required precise cutting and fitting. He didn't give up until it was right. He was a pleasure to work with.

Amazing! We went to their store on Saturday, they came two days later to measure, and installed the granite four days after that! Plus they were the cheapest bid we got. They showed up early, got the job done in under 4 hours, and it looks great. Install turned out to be more difficult than expected, had to cut into our wall in places, but since they were putting up a backsplash as well, it wasn't a problem. Only downside is that they didn't caulk everything, so we will need to take care of that, but all in all, we would recommend them in a heartbeat.

I first went to look at his granite and saw he also had kitchen cabinets. I was about to purchase my cabinets elsewhere but he told me he would beat the competitor's price with the addition of add-ons like roll out trays. He delivered them at no extra cost and after discovering the roll out trays were missing he promptly ordered them and I had them within a few days. The cabinets are AMAZING. They are well built, heavy, high quality real wood, have soft close drawers, look beautiful, and all for less than anything at home depot or lowes. Seriously go to him for your cabinets and don't waste your money at home depot. You'll have to hire someone to install, if you can't, but you will still save money.

He has two locations near each other. I was unaware of this and went to the location that seemed more like the warehouse instead of the showroom, but Irfan still welcomed me there and showed me around to find the granite slabs I liked most. I ended up liking and quot;lunar pearland quot; which I found through another provider but Irfan said he had it and agreed to match the price and since I had already bought cabinets from him and was more than happy with them, I decided I would rather keep working with him. After I had my cabinets installed, he came and measured my countertop space himself and worked with some very difficult corners since I have a corner range. After the granite was cut (just a day or two after measuring) he came with his workers and installed it with them. He worked very thoroughly and made sure everything was perfect. You can tell he really wants his work to reflect well on him and he really takes pride in doing his work as best as possible.

A nightmare. Overhangs ranged from flush with the cabinet face to extending 3/4 in. One stove side was square, the other rounded and didn't cover the cabinet. There were gaps against finished cabinets, some quite jagged that couldn't be concealed with caulk. There should have been one seam on the long side but there were two, including one that was unsupported above the dishwasher which would have broken under normal use. The worst was the island sink which was cut 3.5 in. too far to the right and went across 2 cabinets rather than being centered in one. Their only solution was to cut or move the cabinets. They took our 2 sinks when they left, didn't return them willingly and refused to refund our deposit. After being told to stay away from our house, two of them showed up and threatened my husband and our builder (who said he'd never seen anything like this in his 20 years of experience). They had to call the police. We wrote a letter outlining all the problems and asking for a refund of our deposit. They did not respond so we sued them in Small Claims Court and easily won. Had the problems arisen becuase we changed our mind, the judge would not have been so quick to find in our favor. They appealed and hired an attorney who conveyed their offer to settle for less than half the judgment. We declined, sent their attorney photos of the job and indicated we neglected to include our disposal costs for the granite and if they continued their appeal, we would ask for additional costs incurred. Their attorney must have convinced them we would get more money on appeal since they quickly dropped the appeal and we got a check for our deposit.

We first met with Irfan at his store. He is very friendly and professional. We walked through his warehouse to determine what type of granite we wanted. We provided him the measurements and scheduled a installation date. We got home and realized one of our measurements were off. We immediately called Irfan to alert him to the change. He personally came out to install the granite. They were very carefully as they removed the old vanity. They installed the new vanity and drilled holes for the fixtures. His plumbing came out about an hour later to install the fixtures and connect the plumbing. We will be using Irfan for our other bathroom and kitchen counters.
