Description of Work: Rented floor sander and edger for a weekend to refinish 600 sf of hardwood floor. I discovered that the upper retainer of the floor drum sander would not remain closed during machine operation. I sanded both floors with the edger as I did not have time to return the drum sander for repair.

+ -1 moreI was very impressed with American Rentals. I wanted to jackhammer a concrete slab in my backyard, and Rentals knew exactly what I needed. When I informed Rentals of the job, not only did they recommended the correct jackhammer size and provide informative safety advice, but they gave me important on-the-job advice . After informing Rentals that my 3' x 8' concrete slab was abutting the exterior of my house, Rentals made sure that that my slab and housing exterior were separate rather than same-molded. I hadn't realized that in a same-molded concrete slab, cracks in the slab would translate to cracks in the housing exterior. While it turned out that my concrete slab and housing exterior were separate pieces, I nonetheless appreciated Rentals' thoroughness. The tool worked without a hitch and at half the price of other rental companies.

+ -1 moreWe have a long time relationship with them. We used it when the father owned it and now the son owns it. We use them anytime that we need them. They load up for you. They give advice. They make sure that you know how to operate everything.
Description of Work: We have used American Rental for years. We rented an airrator the last time we used them.
