Mike Jones is just simply put the best you will find in the area. He's fantastic at what he does and he's extremely personable and helpful. Even though he's an expert in his field of study, he always makes time to explain the process and walks you through it. He's a great communicator and fair business man. He did a wonderful job on our kitchen by completely reworking it's layout making it more accessible to us. We are so thankful for the opportunity to work with this company. Thank you, Mike!

We hired Mike and his crew to perform some framing and carpentry tasks that our previous contractor either did incorrectly or didn't do at all. We also had Mike do the exterior trim and fiber cement siding install as well as help with getting some of our bathrooms ready for tile. Finally, he built us a small deck at the back of the home. His drywall crew also hung and finished all of our interior drywall. Other than the price (you get what you pay for, we've discovered), the entire experience with Mike was excellent. To be fair, there were no issues with surprise costs. It's just he is on the higher end of the spectrum when it comes to prices. Again, you get what you pay for. His attention to detail and his overall knowledge about residential construction is quite impressive. He helped point out issues outside the scope of work that he recommended we address and was/is always available to answer questions. His estimates were very detailed and itemized. He also did a good job of keeping me informed along the way as to how things were progressing Many general contractors show up with their laborers, give some instructions, and then hit the road and hope the laborers know how to do things. With Mike, he's there almost all of the time doing the work himself or with his small crew (who are also equally knowledgeable). You end up with the feeling that the work is being done properly. Not merely just to a bare minimum "acceptable" standard but really done RIGHT. He simply doesn't cut corners.

The demolition caused additional damage, some items were repaired/replaced and some were not.
The plumbing and drywall were well done.
The carpentry, painting, insulation and tile were satisfactory.
This contractor came with strong recommendations from a friend. His prices were high, but he had good ideas and we hoped to use him to do substantial additional work on our house. However, we had a serious problem with tile installation resulting from a miscommunication. The contractor fixed the problem at his expense. After that, we had problems contacting him and getting him to finish work in a timely manner. We tried for several months and finally gave up.

Mike delivered a detailed proposal for all the work we requested. His proposal while not the lowest in price was the best value compared to other proposals received from other contractors. He began the work on time, completed all work on schedule and did not exceed the contracted price. The workmenship was first rate. He was always wiling to considerd suggestions we made to the work as it progressed. Mike is great to work with. We would highly recommened him to all our friends and relatives.
