Tommy Little is the owner of Accomodations Home Services and he brought in a stellar team of people to help build the deck. He oversaw all the work himself and was very responsive. After they completed the demolition of the old deck, they had to dig the holes for the footings. Before the inspector could get there - Hurricane Sandy came. Before the hurricane they prepped the property with plastic ground cover to protect the holes and put down wood sheets to cover each hole. Fortunately, there was no problem with water getting in the holes. Once the storm passed through and the inspector came - they started work on the deck and finished remarkably quickly. The team arrived early in the morning and worked till dark to make up for lost time due to the storm and the lag time with getting the inspections as originally planned. This team consistently handled each task the right way and they never sacrificed quality with shortcuts they could have taken. They handled all challenges professionally and proactively. There was an outdoor water faucet which had been under the previous deck and I'd had a little square cut out of the old deck to have access to the water faucet. Tommy offered several suggestions for how to handle this - including rerouting the piping to come above the deck. They handled all the plumbing work for the faucet, both inside and outside. While they worked on the deck, a neighbor stopped by to get their contact information and a quote because they had done such a great job. I'm extremely pleased and look forward to entertaining on the deck!
