I had A-1 Irrigation install an irrigation system on our new construction home building project in the fall of 2020. Our initial interactions with Aaron Rogers, owner of A-1, were cordial and professional in nature. We agreed on a price to install our system, with the caveat that we would need some adjustments at a later date, after we installed our stone patio in the following spring. Aaron agreed he would service these adjustments and built these into our contractual price, which we paid for after the original installation. Also as part of our installation, A-1 agreed to provide us a "free" Spring Service, which was also in our contract. During the installation of our Patio, A-1 came out to our residence and cut the irrigation system so the patio could be installed, at which time they took pictures of the system removal and agreed to come back to reinstall once the patio was completed. In late March 2021 we completed the patio and were ready for our Spring Service and to have the system re-connected. At which time I received an email from Aaron saying, "As per your installation proposal, we offer a Free Winter/Spring service. You've received your Winter service, we won't be returning for Spring or any other service regarding your irrigation system. In short, we don't feel like you're a good fit for the company, and you would be happier with someone else performing those services. As we are a reputable company, Mr. Horvath, and we will be sending you a check for $85 (this is what you're Spring service would have cost) that you can apply to whatever company you decide to use in the future." Needless to say were astonished at this email and offered to meet to resolve any issues he may have, for which Aaron never responded. Six weeks later and we have not received the promised refund check, any of the pictures they took of the lines they cut, or any other communications from A-1 Irrigation. Only use this Company at your own risk and please reach out to me personally and I am happy to share the emails provided by Aaron above.

Chris with A1 was always professional, on-time and extremely knowledgeable. The full installation was completed in a day with the system tested and running. yard looks great, system works well and glad we finally had one installed.

The techs Chris and Ludwig came out after a desperate call from me after having our lawn overseeded and aerated with directions to water twice daily, and I noticed we were missing two sprinkler heads.  They came out and replaced the two missing ones and checked the system and noticed one was no longer moving and one was tilted and spraying up to the sky.  They fixed both of those issues--replacing the one rotor and straightened out the other.  They checked the system to see if they could determine where all 4 of our zones are located (new house and we are trying to figure it all out).  Chris showed me how to program the system and actually programmed it to water twice a day.  They were both so very nice and were knowledgable and answered all my questions.  Told me best time to call to schedule our winterization and offered advice on how best to go forward in finding our missing zones and sprinkler heads.  Can't say enough how much I appreciated the help and advice.

Great experience, Aaron the owner conducted the estimate. He was extremely courteous, professional and knowledgable. Written estimate was completed on time and he routinely followed up with phone calls and emails to clarify, and ensure we understood all the details. The install crew which has been with the company for 10+ years was also courteous and efficient, very willing to let me know the status of the project and answer any of my questions. Once completed they cleaned up the area - you'd would have never know they were there! At the conclusion of the install, the project manager gave me a thorough demo of the system. Outstanding, best home improvement experience I've had to date. Will use them again for our backyward, once we complete our landscaping. Highly recommend.

We had A1 Irrigation winterize our home sprinkler system last year. When they turned it on a few days ago, they discovered various underground leaks and sprinkler heads that were blown off. On further investigation and talking to other contractors, I found out that the system was not properly winterized. This kind of damage is caused by water freezing in the pipes. We have to replace a burst pipe under our driveway which makes such repair expensive and a headache to deal with. A1 refused to even consider that this is caused by improper winterizing.

They showed up on time. They are extremely skilled in the services they provided. My lawn looked nearly undisturbed. The system ran smoothly when they were finished. They also offered really reasonable prices.

Received estimate for installation and maintenance (winterizing) of six zone irrigation system. Staff were professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Price was very competitive and parts were covered with a three year warranty. Installation was very professional with very minimal disruption to turf and professionally landscaped planting beds - it was difficult to tell where pipes had been laid. Another company severed a pipe due to negligent digging and A-1 was very prompt to repair damage. Subsequent requests to adjust/exchange sprinkler heads were handled with no problems. Highly recommend.

Max is awesome. He worked for 1.5 hours in the pouring rain to fix 5 breaks (caused by newly installed landscaping) in our system and to replace 5 sprinkler heads. When he couldn't adjust one sprinkler sufficiently after 15 min of work, he respectfully checked with me before suggesting replacement. The office team is great, too. Christine called us twice to confirm our appointment and everyone was so cordial.

They did great work, you could barely tell they had been there once completed. They provided a 5 year warantee and have honored on two occasions (minor problems due to settlement). Customer service on annual maintenance contract has been superior. My neighbor used them this year to install a system. Within one hour of him signing a contract, I got a call from A-1 thanking me for referral and offering a significant discout on next year's maintenance contract. A second neighbor has now gotten an estimate from them.
