He provided multiple options to help us make a more informed decision for our unit. We decided to go ahead and replace our system after his full diagnosis. We were having guests coming before he was going to have the opportunity to replace the unit. He offered to add Free on to the unit in the meantime so we would keep cool during the holiday. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.

They arrived promptly, were courteous and put booties on their work shoes to protect our floors. (A very thoughtful touch).
Herb obviously knows his business and is very meticulous. Everything was accomplished well, is plumb and square and works. Couldn't ask for anything more.
As we are new to Fredericksburg its great to meet competent and reliable contractors. We will definitely use them again.

It went very well. They were very professional they gave me an estimate and I went forward with the estimate and the machine has been working for 5 years with no issues.

"The coil (2002 model) was 9 years old and out of warranty when it was replaced in 2011. The quoted price to replace this coil was $ 1857.00 and we discounted it to $ 1700.00 for this customer. I wish we could buy coils for $ 16 to $ 17, our customers would like that also. The customer did not contact us in regards to a problem with his system, if he did we would have been glad to look at it for him. The next call on record was in June 2013 for a service and cleaning. I'm sure this review, which was transcribed, is nothing but a misunderstanding of the information given in a telephone intererview."

Our a/c stopped working on a weekend during a major heatwave. On Saturday evening, I checked Angie's list and called the 2 top rated companies in my area that advertised emergency service. My call to one company was answered by an answering machine. My call to Spotsylvania Courthouse Heating and A/C was answered by a very friendly lady who, to my surprise, said a repairman could be at my house the next day around noon and that she would call when he was on his way. She called Sunday morning and the repairman came as promised. He was very friendly and courteous and professional. He diagnosed the problem as a bad capacitor and replaced it. Our system was running again in less that an hour after he arrived. We plan to have this company do our yearly maintenance. Excellent service!!
