Robert Johnson Appliance Repair

Robert identified that the refrigerator/freezer had many costly repair issues. He felt it would not be worth repairing because there were problems with both the refrigerator and freezer. The service call fee was appropriate and he saved us a lot of money because we were going to buy a freezer ad then would need to replace the refrigerator anyway.

Our washing machine wouldn't drain. Mr. Johnson came out the day after I called and was able to get the junk that had accumulated for years out of a drain filter, got everything back together, and double checked that the problem was solved. I now consider him my go-to person for appliance repair! I'm not sure if the price was better than others might have charged, but I do know that given my angst and need for quality work, the price was excellent!

Mr. Johnson arrived when he said he would. He evaluated the problem and started working on the refrigerator. He said that it is an old refrigerator but he thought he had the part that failed on his truck. He did and had the refrigerator repaired in 2 hours for a reasonable price. He cleaned up after himself. I was thrilled. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat. I have his card on my wall.

I actually will be calling him today because my refrigerator that I bought in 2009 is on the fritz and am hoping for good news today.

It went well. I was at work, but my house sitter helped him find the washer. He had to unstack a dryer to get to the washer. After he replaced the part, he ran a cycle in the machine to make sure it worked correctly. He then put everything back where it belonged.

This was at a house we were renting from a friend while we built our house. She was managing the property for a family in France who had just bought the house.  Which is just to say that no one knew anything about the appliance history.
The repair went great. He came, he fixed it, no hassle. It was a simple problem. A thing had broken, the belt had been stretched, and it was making a horrible noise. He replaced the part and the belt. No further problems with the machine. Nice guy, too.

The problem was a Drain Error message on an LG front load washer.  Mr. Johnson came out the same day that I called.  He diagnosed the problem quickly and, although he had to return two days later with the part, he showed us a "workaround" to keep the machine running during that time.  He even offered some advice with regard to a problem we were having with our dishwasher.  Mr. Johnson was professional, courteous and knowledgeable.  We will certainly call him again if the need arises.

Showed up on time, identified the problem in minutes, fixed it 10 minutes later.  Perfect.

He was great.  He even stayed to make sure the dishwasher cycled and made sure it was working properly.

Robert responded relatively quickly, although it did take me two calls to reach him, but not a big deal. I told him what was going on, my washer was filling with water when it wasn't running. He said it sounded like one of the valves going bad. Robert said that he didn't have the part but that he would get one before he came. He warned me that they could be quite expensive. But he came to the house, installed it within 15 minutes and everything works just fine! The part wasn't as expensive as we thought it was going to be so I was quite happy! I appreciated his warning because nothing is worse than price sticker shock! I would definitely use Robert again!

He tried two parts he might thought would have fixed it and they did not.  He did not charge us for the parts.  He simply charged a service call.  He was on time and a pleasure to have in our home.
