I was impressed with the quality of work and especially the professionalism of the crew the first time around. I was completely disappointed with the responsiveness of the company with regard to the estimate for additional (non-related) work. I was sold on the company based on their initial work and ended up delaying my work for about a month waiting on them to give me an estimate. Maybe they didn't need the work or didn't want to mess with my job. If that was the case, I wish they would have had the professionalism and courtesy to return my call and tell me that they weren't interested in performing the work.
Description of Work: When there was potential damage done by the cable company to the electrical in our house, the cable company called in McCleod for repairs (ended up that the damage was preexisting). This repair was done promptly and late on a Friday, which really helped out since the electrical services restored were going to be critical that coming weekend. I was very happy with the quality of that work. While that work was being conducted, I asked their opinion on some other non-emergency work that I was considering. They gave me a rough idea of what level of time and money to expect on that repair (but it wasn't an estimate, nor was it supposed to be). We exchanged contact information with the agreement that they would come back in about six weeks and perform an actual estimate. Approximately six weeks later they came and looked the house over for the estimate. However, they never gave us an estimate. We called them several times over the next several weeks; we would get representative on the line and were assured that a message would be given to the estimator, but we never got a call or any form of communication back with an estimate.
