It went well. From the initial phone call to the final repair.

Highly professional, very skilled, honest, trustworthy, and reasonably priced. You don?t find service like this any more. We hired Harris Brothers Plumbing to fix the upstairs toilet that was wobbly. While I assumed the toilet just needed to be re-seated and tightened, during my telephone conversation with Mr. Harris, he walked me through 3 possible scenarios. He provided ball-park estimates for two scenarios. An estimate for the third scenario, which involved tearing out my kitchen ceiling and perhaps removing my kitchen cabinets (located beneath the toilet on the floor below), would require Mr. Harris to visit my home.
I received a call to remind me of our appointment the day before (always nice when you are planning on taking time off from work for an appointment to know your service provider remembers as well). On the day of the appointment, I received a call to let me know they were 5 minutes away. They arrived on time and were both gentlemen, courteous, and polite. They explained everything they found and showed me the problem; it was a rotten flange that would need to be replaced (scenario 2). They diligently worked for several hours to replace the flange. It was only through their hard effort, that we were able to avoid tearing down my kitchen ceiling, located below the toilet, to replace the flange (scenario 3). I am not sure another contractor would have put so much effort into avoiding ripping down my ceiling. The job would have been much easier on the Harris brothers if they had torn down the ceiling, but I would have been left with a MAJOR mess. At the end of the service call, I expected a large bill and was pleasantly surprised when it was less than $400. They spent half-a-day on this job. Six months later, we have had no issues with the repair and are still very pleased with their workmanship. I highly recommend the Harris Brothers.

Chuck returned my initial call promptly and came out the next day to take a look and give me a quote. He returned on the date we agreed and finished the job before I had to leave for work. He did a great job and was honest, courteous and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again.

We called Harris Brother's Plumbing after the supply line under the sink started leaking. I believe Chuck answered the phone. He was very pleasant and we scheduled for them to come out the next morning.
They said they would be there at 9:30 a.m., and they arrived promptly at 9:30 a.m. They even called me 15 minutes before they arrived to let me know they were close.
They checked the supply line under the sink and replaced it. It was a very quick process.
After that, they checked the toilets and mentioned that the flappers on both were worn (something we suspected). They replaced those as well.
In all, it took them about 30 minutes. The total cost for the supply line replacement and the flapper replacements was $124. (We noticed an instant difference with the way the toilets flushed.)
After they completed the work, I mentioned that we were interested in having a shutoff valve installed on our back hose bib, so we could winterize. (Something the home inspector recommended before we moved in.)
I wanted to look into the issue more before having them perform the work. I called them two days later and they came out ot put on a shutoff valve.
I asked them for a phone call 45 minutes before they arrived so that I could get home from work. They called an hour before. When they arrived, they checked the pipe to the back hose bib to make sure there wasn't a shutoff valve already installed. Once they determined that there wasn't, they installed one.
The job didn't take long, and was completed to my satisfaction.
All in all, we were very pleased with both visits from Harris Brothers Plumbing. We found their rates to be very reasonable, and were very happy with their work. We would highly recommend them.

Harris Brothers were prompt and friendly. The plumber found the leak in my upstairs bathroom, and fixed it quickly. Then he tested the damaged area in my downstairs ceiling to be sure the leak was fixed. I have nothing but good things to say about Harris Brothers. I will DEFINITELY use them iin the future.

A truly honest plumber! We found Chuck Harris, Harris Bros. Plumbing, on Angie's List. He responded to our call immediately, it was a Friday evening. We asked him if he could come out on Monday and he said he could but it would be late afternoon. He called first, he told us when he would arrive and he was no more than 3 minutes different, and was early. He evaluated the toilet and could not find a leak. (We still aren't sure where the water came from and have had no problems since). Although he could have said there was something wrong and "fixed it" (we wouldn't have known the difference) he said he could find nothing wrong, but if we noticed water again, he would come right out. He then evaluated our kitchen faucet and it needed to be replaced. He told us the size we would need. We asked him how much we owed him and he said "nothing". He didn't feel it was right to charge us when there was nothing wrong. He came out after he'd already put in a full day of work, and it was after 6 pm when he left. We tried to get him to take some money, but he wouldn't. He said he would come out again once we had the new faucet. We called him on Wednesday, and he said he would be out Friday morning. He called first, was out exactly on time and replaced the faucet. He cleaned the area (there was some rust), installed the new faucet and it works perfectly. My husband practically forced him to accept some payment for having come out twice. (We live pretty far away from his office.) He visited for awhile, was very nice, extremely personable and a very good plumber. I have already given his name to 4 people. When I tell them the story, everyone is impressed with an actual honest plumber who does what he says he will, when he says he will. We trust him completely, and we can't say enough great things about Chuck.

I have since moved out of state and wish I could get them to come to FL to do work! But I left the new homeowner who bought my house with their info, and they are going to use them as well. Hard to find honest, knowledgeable, fairly priced vendors, these brothers are great!

Went very well. Would recommend waiting for this plumber if he is booked. A true craftsman who is busy is busy for a good reason:-).

I was having cabinets installed when the carpenter discovered a leak in the wall dripping into the foundation. The carpentry work had to stop until this was repaired. The representative from the plumbing company I initially called told me that in order to make the repair they would have to replace the entire cast iron pipe running under my house and would have to jack hammer and destroy my floors. The cost was going to be in the thousands of dollars. My contractor suggested Harris Plumbing. Harris Plumbing said this was totally unnecessary. The repaired the plumbing problem with an effective and simple fix.
