My wife and I have a 73 year old house which has been settling due to decay of the original foundation. We started planning for the house lift over a year in advance and got two quotes for the actual lift. Jason was very responsive in giving an estimate and describing the work prior to the lift. The lift took two days; one to dig trenches and to install the cribs under the house and the second to install the steel and lift the house. We continued to live in the house while it was in the air; installed jumpers for power, water, sewage and internet. The lowering only took one day. The house landed perfectly on the newly poured concrete basement walls. Even though not in the contract, Jason did not have a problem assisting us in placing a steel I-Beam into a beam pocket and onto a lolly column which required building an additional temporary crib. In return, some friends, my carpentry team and myself assisted Jason's team in removing their crib beams (6"x6"x4') from under the house.
Description of Work: Ayers House Movers Inc installed steel beams under my house, lifted it approximately 3 feet straight up, lowered it down onto newly poured basement walls, and removed the steel beams.
