My daughter took our Toyota Avalon to Virginia Tire and Auto (South Riding) for an inspection. They went over the car with a fine tooth comb to find a tiny hole in a steering boot. When I returned with the car to ask what failed they had a hard time finding the "issue". I took the car to another inspection site told them what was claimed and they could not find the "issue" and passed the car.

No appointment necessary, took my car up and dropped it off (could have simply waited - was quoted an hour), was offered a ride to my house, but I made my husband follow me!  Approximately an hour later they called and informed me my car was ready!  When I arrived, I could not locate my car, so they ran to the back of the building and brought my car to me!  Outstanding service!

We have lived in the area for 4 years.  We went to VTA b/c it was close to our first home...not knowing anything about anything around the Ashburn/Leesburg area.

We can't say enough good things about the locations of VTA we have been to.  Everyone is always very nice and polite and we get good service.  The waiting areas are clean and neat and the people are so nice.

A bit pricey...but I think that must just be a Northern Virginia thing.  They do provide a free courtesy shuttle...so I assume there is a small cost rolled into each service.

I have used VA Tire & Auto numerous times for routine maintenance and inspections.  They have always been friendly, courteous, and do not recommend additional unnecessary services.  The prices are reasonable, as they often have coupons.  The free shuttle is an added convenience.

Their service has been good. I like that they are close to me and they can squeeze me in. When they estimate the time to complete the work, they are always spot on. It has never gone over. I have been going there for a few years and haven’t had any issues.

They were great and I have no complaints with them at all. They were concerned with my safety in driving long distance and they took special care to make sure I knew everything was okay. They were detailed in the information about my car. They went over how everything was working and that I knew the appropriate pressure for my tires and other specifics. I used them for two years before I moved and always trusted them. They never talked down to me, which I always appreciated.

Their service is absolutely fantastic. I love working with them. All the work they have done for us has been great. We have been using them for about three years and have had no issues. The people in the shop are very professional, thorough, and easy to work.

My Ford Escape is a pre-owned vehicle I purchased last March.  Although it was a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, I wanted an oil change and to also have all the fluids changed on the vehicle to give me peace of mind.  The mechanics at this VA Tire and Auto/Goodyear service center determined I DID NOT need to have all the fluids changed.  I got an oil change and only needed a brake fluid flush.  I went in expecting to get a transmission, universal fluid, power steering, radiator and brake fluid flushed.  This is the second time this Goodyear service center has saved me money.  I mention this because the VA Tire and Auto/Goodyear Service Center on Metrotech Drive in Chantilly ripped me off a few years ago.  DO NOT GO TO THE VA TIRE AND AUTO/GOODYEAR SERVICE CENTER ON METROTECH DRIVE.  They would NOT have done what the mechanics at the South Riding center did for me.  The Metrotech Drive store manager charged me $500 for the same part I later found on the internet for $150.  Then, when I asked the manager if the $500 fee included labor he was more than proud to tell me, NO, labor is additional.  I had no other alternative as the service engine light came on and so I had to get the work done there.  As I said earlier I will never again use the VATire and Auto/Goodyear Service Center on Metrotech Drive.  
Virginia Tire and Auto of South Riding is the place to take your vehicle.  Their professionalism and integrity deserve to be recognized and patronized.

I've been coming here for years and have always been happy with them. They've won several awards, which impressed me. They have a shuttle service to pick you up & take you home if you live close by, which I do.

The temperature gauge was pegging hot most of the time and randomly in my 1994 Honda Accord.  When I took it to South Riding location Virginia Tire & Auto, they diagnosed that the cooling temperature sender and/or gauge may be bad and recommended first changing the sender.  I agreed and after changing the sender, the problem persisted, and I agreed to replace the gauge.  The problem persisted though now intermittently and being an old car, I was ready to give up.  But, when I called Virginia Tire & Auto continued they asked me to bring it over and continued to work on it, now at NO charges to me, and even replaced the instrument panel from a different car, until the problem was fully corrected.
Over the last 25 years, I have moved around and have used several auto repair facilities but none has earned my trust as the South Riding Virginia Tire & Auto has!  I have been taking my car to Virginia Tire & Auto for the last three years and not only they have earned my trust but also have shown that they have customer?s interest and satisfaction as a priority.
At South Riding Virginia Tire & Auto, I primarily interacted with Ryan and exclusively during the repair reported here.  Ryan is definitely the best service technician I have ever dealt with in my need for auto repair or maintenance services in the last 25 years.  He clearly has customer?s best interest as his number one priority and never hesitated to go the extra mile to make sure that the customer gets the best service and is fully satisfied with the service received.  THANK YOU RYAN!
