Jim does excellent work. He is a consummate pro that knows the business inside and out. He keeps tabs on the latest advancements and uses them to get carpets as clean as they possibly can be. He only recommends what is needed. I inquired about our hardwoods but he advised they were in great shape for their age and condition and did not recommend we spend unnecessarily on them and gave me tips on how to keep them in good shape. How many businesses would do that? We only use Lustre Clean (and no I am not a relative or friend). They are not the cheapest, but you absolutely get what you pay for.

Stanley Steamers told me the carpeting could not be saved, and quoted a higher price than I paid Lustre just to remove and discard the carpeting.

When my basement flooded, two companies said my wall-to-wall carpet couldn't be saved. One offered to remove and discard it for $4,000. I declined their "offer" and called Lustre Clean. They responded promptly to my call. They came the next day, installed fans to dry out the carpet and carpet pads, and provided an industrial size dehumidifier. After four days, everything was dried out. They then reinstalled the carpet and padding, sanitized it, and steam-cleaned it.

They did pretty good job. They were very professional. I think I had a misunderstanding with them. When they came they gave me a price for which I thought they would clean more rooms. Other than that they were okay. They were on time. He was accompanied by his wife. I would use them in the future.

This company has struggle a bit to manage communications with us. However, their work seemed to be the first class, priced right and done well. I would take company like this over any other company who seems to be slick in their communications and responsiveness, but very poor in execution and managing customer expectations. At least for me, the substance matter! I respect company’s honesty and focus on doing what is right. This is clearly family business with lot of experience in doing this kind of work. Jim is truly nice guy, who also shared with us story about his father, who started the company and travelled all over the world. We would definitely hire this company again.

I thought Lustre Clean Carpets did a nice job of cleaning my carpets. They were able to get them clean in a timely manner and their quality of work was very good. The price was very affordable and I would recommend them.
