November 30, 2012 This date I went into a store in South Hill, VA. The Wireless Center 424 Furr Street South Hill, VA 23970 Dear Mr. Carter It is my fervent hope that this store front does not represent the attitude of Boost, Virgin Mobile, Sprint, Alltel or Nextel. This date I went into the above store and met with the owner/manager, David Farmer and two hours later talked to his assistant Jacqueline Vaught (40 mile round trip to the store). Mr. Farmer and I discussed the need that I had; I already have Boost Service but cannot play internet competition games without getting booted off every few minutes. I told Mr., Farmer that I needed a service that would allow me to be on and play Modern Warcraft etc types of games. I told Mr. Farmer my address and that I have Sprint Towers close to my house but do not seem to be able to make use of them. Mr. Farmer stated that if I buy the Virgin Mobile Service $55.00 Virgin Overdrive Pro 3g/4g Hotspot $119.99 Taxes 6.00 That I would have all of my issues solved. We went over my address, my internet, my Boost service and this is all for on-line gaming. Mr. Farmer pulled out a map and said see you are completely covered for gaming purposes. I asked the same question at least three times and each and every time Mr. Farmer stated that he knows my area and my needs and that he is a professional and this is exactly what I need. I purchased what he required and went to my home computer to initiate what I had just purchased and came to find out from Virgin Mobile that they will not accept the device with run through the Sprint Towers in my area. I immediately called back to see about a refund.. Mr. Farmer had already left for the day and his assistant, Ms. Vaught stated that it is their policy that they accept no returns and give no refunds. She also stated that sales are final at their store, and the fact that nothing was used or ever open; is irrelevant. She stated she would talk to Mr. Farmer and get back to me. She did and she stated Mr. Farmer confirmed that caveat emptor is their creed and takes precedence. I asked who the owner was and she said Mr. Farmer that he is not a corporation, partnership, and just a private, store owner selling wireless equipment for Boost, Virgin, Alltel and Nextel as an official representative. The business is entirely his alone. I suggested to both that he lied going out the gate and then she lied repeating what he said that the equipment would work for my needs, and said that she does not care what Virgin or Boost say the equipment will do what I want and again flatly refused a refund.. I suggested that this appears to be intent to defraud. Ms. Vaught stated that she knows the law and I am just nuts. Ms. Vaught?s last comment was, ?think what you want you will not get your money back?. Disappointed customer
