The sale person at this location talked with me and helped me plan my garden from start to finished. Last year I had so many bugs that ate certain vegetable plants that it ruin my garden pretty much. The sale person help and educated me on what plants I should plant around my garden to keep certain insects out and what plants would help my garden to grow without using pepticides, this is the best service I've every had! I would recommend this company to anyone especially if you were not born with a green thumb!!

The work started in April 2010 with a thorough survey of the existing landscape layout by the project manager, a Virginia Certified Horticulturist, who showed up on the date and time promised. We toured my property and I described the new landscape as I envisioned it within the context of injecting some first impression and quot;popand quot; to the curb appeal. The existing landscape at the time was predominantly composed of hollies and boxwoods encircling the home in no particular fashion and accented randomly with some azaleas. The project manager took photographs and made measurements of the property. The sunlight patterns were noted to determine what areas received full or partial sun. A few weeks later I was invited to review the new landscape plan. I received a detailed map of the property showing the scaled size and shape of the new mulch and flower beds. The map was coded with the identification and location of the new plants. This map helped me visualize how the final landscape design would appear. I was given the opportunity to make modifications and ask questions. The project manager explained to my satisfaction why certain plants were placed in their locations in terms of seasonal sunlight throughout the year and complementing the appearance of other surrounding plants. I was impressed by the level of professionalism and knowledge. I live in a covenant neighborhood, where I am required to obtain prior approval of any landscape changes from the homeowner's association. The design plan and map made obtaining this approval an easy process.

On the agreed date of May 21, the crew showed up fully prepared and equipped to execute the plan. The crew supervisor introduced himself and explained the schedule of landscape demolition and reconstruction. The project manager arrived on site to kick-off the project and to make sure that I was fully aware of the work to done over the next few days. The crew was very efficient at removing dozens of old shrubs. The cutting and removal of an old pine tree was probably among the most labor-intensive tasks, but the crew worked hard to complete this and every other task with methodical clockwork. At the completion of each day's work the crew cleaned up and removed all debris. As the new landscape took shape over the next few days, the project manager made frequent visits to check on progress. I was informed that some plants I had ordered were not immediately available, but I was assured that they would be installed as soon as they arrived. The mulch beds were treated with a weed pre-emergent, and on May 25 the work was completed except for the few plants on order. The project manager and I did a walk-through and explained the one-year warranty for the new plants. In addition, I received care instructions for the new plants. A week or so later, the other few plants had arrived and were installed with no problem or added expense. The project manager and I completed the final walk-through to my complete satisfaction.

My experience with this company was excellent and proved the old adage that and quot;you get what you pay for.and quot; At first glance $4800 might sound pricey for this work, but keep in mind that it involved extensive landscape demolition and reconstruction. Also, keep in mind that any company claiming to do landscape work can dig up old plants and install new plants, while showing no regard to suitability or appearance. This company, however, has professional experts on staff, who are state certified in the science of plant cultivation, propagation, and health. They are trained in the field of landscape planning and design. The impressive result speaks for itself. I was extremely pleased with the results and proud to have received many complements from friends and neighbors. I would without hesitation recommend and hire this company again.

They are located closer to my house and have been stopping there for years. Most recently I bought mulch from them and it was cheaper than the previous person I used. They behave professional. The people there are really nice and friendly. They are prompt in showing up. They are very professional and polite. They get along with my dogs as well. They are good.
