When you schedule the work you pay half the quote as a downpayment, and they go ahead and make the windows. We had about a 3 week waiting period for installation. The second half is paid the day of installation.
Installation was very fast and was done in part of a day, including 13 windows in the main part of the house, and 3 windows in the basement (the basement windows had to be framed up before they put them in); it took from about 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Avis measured the windows during the estimate; they build the windows before they came; when they arrive, they have the windows ready and they take an old window out and put a new one in immediately, so you can even leave the AC on and your home stays cold and the bugs stay out. After putting all the windows in, they went around and began to fasten and seal them; they cut the outer trim part of the window, which is like a white aluminum, right there on site. Cleanup was excellent and they hauled away all the old windows and materials.
I could not be more happy with a company or with our beautiful windows. It has motivated us to update other areas of the house because the windows just look so nice. I wish I could make this review count for 3 reviews because they did 3 homes for my family, all told, at 3 separate times, and we are all very happy with them.
