I desire a maintenance free stainless steel chimney cover (chase).
The estimate was $770 installed. I went online and purchased a similar 24 gauge stainless steel cover for
$348 - delivered. I shalll attach it to the chimney in several hours.at nearly half the price
It seems $320 for installation labor plus markup for the cover itself is rather high.
