Gibson Air Systems Inc

Contract of Work signed in April of 2011. Price was $4200.00. Price was to include installation of  Mitsubishi mini-split system consisting of one Outdoor unit and two Indoor units as well as labor and materials. Contractor was paid half up front. Came in June 2011 and performed rough-in. Contractor never returned to finish job! We ended up purchasing the Mitsubishi equipment ourselves and paying a friend to make connections, monitor pressures and  perform start up of equipment.

We have used Mr. Gibson for service in the past without any problem. The compressor needed to be replaced on one of our heat pumps. We verbally contracted with Mr. Gibson for replacement. For the next three weeks we tried to contact Mr. Gibson by leaving messages requesting him to call. He would not return our calls. I even asked his wife to please ask him to call us. After three weeks I called him on my cell since I knew it would not identify me. He answered and told me he thought we were ordering the compressor and since we were not he would place an order right away. That was at least three weeks ago. We have called Mr. Gibson several times requesting that he please call us and let us know what was going on and to please let us know if he was not going to repair our heat pump. As of today he has not returned our calls. We have had to use two electric space heaters to try to keep our bedroom and den warm during some of the coldest, nastiest weather the east has experienced in a long time. Our electric bill as a result has been very high. We owe Mr. Gibson no money and have always paid our bills promptly. We have not antagonized Mr. Gibson in any way that we are aware of. We are both over 60 and have suffered because of Mr. Gibson's neglectful, unprofessional attitude.
