OVERALL GREAT!! THERE WERE A FEW SLIGHT ISSUES. THE SLIDING PANEL OF THE DOOR HAD SOME DEFECTS. I CALLED WINDOW WORLD AND THEY ORDERED A NEW PANEL, INSTALLED IT WITH NO HASSLES OR PROBLEMS. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL, HONEST, AND TRUSTWORTHY. I DEFINITELY WOULD USE THEM AGAIN AND RECOMMEND TO OTHERS. THEY ARE THE TYPE OF COMPANY WILL WORK WITH YOU TO MAKE SURE THE JOB IS DONE RIGHT.

"I contacted Mr. (member name removed) on July 24th and made an appointment to meet with him at his residence on July 26th at 3:00pm. The meeting went well, we talked and discussed over his concerns and issues that he had. We came to an agreement that Window World would reimburse Mr. (member name removed) for all of his expenses in regards to repairing the A/C unit top covers, the front porch roof ridge caps. Mr. (member name removed) and I also addressed the leaking front gutter issue and come to an agreement on how it would be handled and repaired. Mr. (member name removed) was given and accepted a check for the total sum of the repairs that he had paid for. Mr. (member name removed) was also given and accepted a check from the crew that broke the lamp for its replacement cost. In this meeting with Mr. (member name removed) , he stated that he was happy and satisfied with all of the other work (over 30 windows and 5 entry doors) that Window World had installed for him. He did not have any problems or complaints with the window and door crews. He only had issues with the siding and gutter crew, who, no longer works for Window World. We addressed the issue of a crew member supposedly breaking into his daughters apartment. As we discussed this matter in detail, I made it very clear that I or Window World of Roanoke did not condone this behavior from any of the crews working for Window World! We agreed that nothing was disturbed, missing, moved and stolen. The crew worker denies entering the apartment with out permission, after this incident, he was not permitted to work on any more of Window World of Roanoke's jobs. Since I met with Mr. (member name removed) , The crew leader and the rest of the siding and gutter crew are no longer working for Window World. Mr. (member name removed) declined my offer to help him with filing a Police report concerning this matter, Mr. (member name removed) stated that he didn't feel that was necessary. We also discussed the issue with the broken bathroom door, Mr. (member name removed) said for us not worry about it, that he was replacing the door anyway. I have spoken to Mr. (member name removed) three times since the meeting to make sure there are no other concerns and/or issues. He stated that he is satisfied with the outcome of the meeting and the previous installations. I feel that Window World has made all efforts to make sure that Mr. (member name removed) expenses were taken care of and that their are no other issues that needs to be addressed. I want to thank Mr. (member name removed) again for the business and I am sorry that we had these problems with his job. It is our goal to have 100% customer satisfaction! Salesman was really good. He came out and did a wonderful job of selling the product and showing all the great things about the windows themselves. He wanted me to make a choice right there and I said I wanted more time and he started coming down on price. I would rather them just be honest from the start and give me a the cost of them and not play the car salesman's game. I ordered after getting about 10% lower and it was a 2 month wait until they arrived.
Once they arrived, the install crew showed up and they were awesome! Like really really good. As this story progresses, these guys were the only reason professionalism gets above an F. They did a really good job of clean up both inside and out. That said, they removed a window and then found that 3 of the 11 ordered were nearly two feet two large. So they patched it up with a sheet of plywood for the two week wait for a new window. Additionally, I was to receive a new sash as one was damaged in shipping. No questions asked and they did an amazing job at not damaging walls and such.
After a weeks time, I had to be the one to call WW and ask what was up with my windows. Were they ordered and when would they arrive? They were very disorganized and the gentleman I talked to was unprofessional. Alas they came in and I was told the install crew would be there at 8am... They arrived at 11am. I called at 830 and somehow things didn't get passed along. But once here, they installed the remaining window in no time and when I asked where my new sash is. Low and behold, it was never ordered. I called and talked to the owner of this franchise and he apologized for how terrible his company has done and offered me a BWW gift card for my hassle. It was supposed to be delivered with the sash yet another two weeks later when it came in but when I got home after work, there was only a replacement sash sitting at my door. I'm sure it also just got lost in the mail. Strike 3, right from the top.
The entire process was exhausting. Don't get me wrong, the products themselves are really nice and they insulate great. I'm just not sure if it's worth all the hassle I went through to get them. If I could go back in time, I would find another company to purchase my windows from. I feel confident that you can find windows having equal features for the same buck and support a company with good customer support. It's word of mouth that brought me to this company and I hope it's word of mouth that will help you support another organization that still has what it takes when things go wrong with your order.
We are pleased with the windows and doors, and I'm sure they have saved us money on heating and cooling. They are attractive (we chose the matching grids) and very easy to clean. A few days ago the deadlock on the front door jammed and the key would not open the door. After a call, a locksmith fellow from Window World came out and replaced the lock at no charge. It had been almost a year since the door was installed. They stand behind their work.
