I inherited a glider and chair. Approximately 75 yrs old.  They both had to be sandblasted to remove all of the old paint.  Everything went well until I noticed rust showing through the coating.  This was after a year on an enclosed porch and being covered up during the winter.  When I told the guy that the only time it had been wet was when I rinsed it off in the spring, he told me "well that's what rusted it."  I was also told that maybe since it is such a light color that it was showing. He offered to caulk all the seams and redo it "at cost" of $200.00. I , in essence, spent $400 to wind up doing what I could have done for $50.00. Paint it.  So much for "lifetime guarantee". DO NOT use this vendor. May be fine for bed liners, but not for this purpose.
