Salem painting is fantastic!! Calling them to paint our 2700 sf house interior in August 2025 was a great decision. Corey and his team did an amazing job painting our ceilings, trim, walls, and doors. Corey offered suggestions and guided us through the process as we selected colors, shades, and quality of paint. His team perfectly prepared the interior removing picture hanging nails, curtains and rods, sanding down and prepping for painting. Even after applying two coats on our front door, the paint was bleeding through so they painted the door again! Attention to detail!👍 Salem painting saved us thousands of dollars compared with other estimates and delivered superior results! So nice to support a local small business instead of a franchise from a national chain. I highly recommend Salem painting as your primary choice for your painting requirements!

Good work. Slight imperfections here and there once work was done (to be expected on a large job). They fixed everything I pointed out, with no complaints.

Corey provided a quality quotation. I had to wait about 2 months for the work to begin. Precisely at the appointed hour a good crew showed and got to work. It took three days to complete and the result is excellent. I can only recommend these guys. They did a professional job on time with no fuss.

The paint looks great! They even patched a hole in the drywall of the basement rec room at no extra charge. The crew ran into some issues in one of the bathrooms after removing wall paper, but they overcame that by re-mudding all of the walls so that the paint would stick well and be smooth. The only thing I would mark them down slightly on was that there were, on 2 different occasions, a faucet left running after they were gone - most likely due to bumping the handle while they were working. Luckily this was in a bathroom sink and it drained without running over onto the floor. There were also some cups left from their lunch and a drink bottle left in the fridge. The paint looks great!

It was a little difficult to find any painters and to get estimates since this is a busy time of year. however, Corey did provide and estimate fairly quickly made some suggestions without being pushy or overbearing.

The team showed up on time, did an excellent job, and cleaned everything after. The weather was a mix of rain and storms for the 3 days they worked but they were still able to get the job done and very high quality. My house looks completely new and you cant even tell it's the same house. Have had nothing but good comments from neighbors as well. Corey runs a great company. Recommended!

The team started on Monday and completed the work by noon on Thursday. Rain on Monday slowed the work as they pressured washed the house. and worked about 1/2 day.

Corey's crew did an excellent job. My house is 90 years old and needed a lot of repair to the walls and ceilings. Now, a month after Salem Painting finished the job, we are still as happy as can be with the quality of work performed.

Excellent outcome. Corey was great from the start to the end. His crew did a really good job all around, easy to interact with and thorough in their work. They also cleaned up as they went. Neighbors were impressed with their work, their attention to detail and thorough scrapping especially of the tin roof on our garage and porch which, according to the next door neighbors who've been there over 30 years, has "never looked so good." I've hired painters for different homes we've owned and always been disappointed -- Salem Painting surpassed my modest, reasonable expectations. Definitely would hire them again and highly recommend. We had one other bid that came in roughly the same, and went with Corey/Salem because he was so personable. He also impressed me with his extensive knowledge and experience of his craft, which was incredibly helpful. Very pleased we choose Salem Painting.

Corey was top notch professional. He showed up right on time to do an estimate.  On the day the work was to begin, the men were on the job bright and early.  Despite several paint color changes (sometimes in the same room), they were pleasant to deal with and did a truly professional job throughout.  They estimated two full days of work, and finished right on schedule.  They cleaned up all the materials lying around.  I was very impressed with Corey's painters and I intend to hire them again.

We can't say enough good things about Corey Webster and his crew at Salem Painting.  They did an absolutely superb job at our home!  You couldn't ask for more professional, courteous, thorough and commited craftsmen. There was a lot of work to be done on the house - both inside and out.  They pressure washed and cleaned the exterior and carefully prepped and primed all areas.  Indoors, where there had been old outdated wall paper, they painstakingly removed it and refinished the surfaces smoothly. Trim and cabinets were was so carefully painted and detailed.  This is a group that really takes pride in their work. Corey has many years of experience and expertise in the art and skill of painting.  He has an extremely fine eye for detail and makes sure that everything is the best it can be.  Corey was highly responsive to working within our schedule and very conscientious, even working over the weekend to meet our tight timeframe. The team was always punctual, well organized, friendly and efficient.  When unexpected issues arose, they quickly resolved them.  The fine work that Salem Painting did literally transformed our house.   It made the world of difference. And it now looks absolutely beautiful!  We highly recommend them!

I meant to post this when they did the work last year, but never got around to it. But because they did such an excellent job, I have returned to post the results.  I am extremely satisfied with the painting job. The workers were polite and professional. The painting was done to perfection to include the tedious deck and balcony.  I will definitely keep them in mind for future jobs.

Called Corey on 1-April-2015.  He came the next day then e-mailed the contract with the price.

We asked Corey to start after April.

Corey called on 27-May, stating that they would start on the following day.

Corey and his crew showed up on time, on the 28-may.  I was outside at the time and expected a two man crew but I lost count of the men as they pored out of their vans and car.  Two tackled the deck and the rest disappeared inside the house.  Needless to say I was impressed.  They all were very professional and did excellent work.

It took Corey's crew three days to do the work.

A few days latter, Corey's crew came back to replace the deck furniture.

My deck had not been power washed or stained in over 6 years. It was a mess. And some of the estimates I got felt it should be torn down. 
But Corey felt he could bring it back. He replaced some of the wood. Removed some of the spindles on the railings and replaced them. Reinforced many areas with screws. 
Stained the railings white with 2 coats. And stained the floors and stairs a light gray.
This deck looks better than it did when it was first built 10 years ago. The workers were here early in the AM and every evening left the area neat. It did take 3 days to complete the work. 
They did an excellent job. 
Corey is very knowledgeable about paint and wood. He knows which paint/stain will do best in every situation. Which is so visible with what he did with my situation. His men are very polite and very professional.
Highly recommend this company.
