I called Mike to do some odd jobs on our rental property in Blacksburg, VA. I was impressed with his honesty. He normally would charge for his travel expenses, but if we could arrange a time that coincided with other work he had in the area, he would not charge. We took him up on this and saved some money. He did the work rather quickly and kept me abreast, since I don't live in the area.

Mike did a bunch of "handyman" jobs for me about a month ago, and I was absolutley pleased with his price, workmanship, punctuality, and professionalism. So when I discovered a toilet leak, I called Mike, as my house is currently for sale, and I couldn't risk damage to the ceiling in the room below the bathroom. Mike came 2 days later, on a Saturday, and replaced the wax ring. You can't even get a plumbing company to send someone out on a Saturday unless you want to pay a king's ransom! I recently painted the bathroom but couldn't get to the space behind the toilet tank. So while the toilet was moved out from the wall, I brought him the paint he painted the area behind the tank. And he was done in 45 minutes, no mess left behind, and he only charged me his hourly rate. Mike does everything - construction, landscaping, major and minor home repairs - you name it, he does it! This guy is a wealth of knowledge and skill for any homeowner!!
