My dogs have received excellent, thorough and compassionate care at every visit. If there has been an issue that requires additional evaluation each part has been explained well (first steps, second steps etc) with options made clear. I only wish the waiting room situation was a little more divided up and separated from the check in desk. One of my dogs is a fearful nut and she would melt down if there was ever a busy waiting room full of men. Fortunately the staff very much understands her issues and makes sure she gets put in a room quickly. I also like the sign that notes unattended children will be given a kitten. I've never seen unattended children there.

.They are very reasonable. They are easy to get along with. The doctors are all good. They usually get me in very promptly. The staff seems to be very knowledgeable. A lot of times I can talk to them. They might give me some hands. But they don't do it if it is something medical. They offer animal lovers suggestions on training a dog or something like that. My dog has to have special food. They always make sure that they have it there for me to pick up. My dog had her second surgery because she had bladder stones. The doctor gave me a discount on the second surgery.

I have been going to Dr. DeRolf since he opened and he is excellent!! He is an excellent diagnostician and explains whatever the problem is very thoroughly. I used to go all the way across town to Vinton for my veterinary work but since he opened, I have the utmost confidence in his expertise. The staff and Dr. DeRolf are wonderful!!

Dr Derolf is an excellent vet, very kind, compassionate and friendly. Explains things to where anyone will understand and doesn't use medical jargon leaving you wondering whats going on. Has excellent bedside manner with frightened or skittish pets and takes his time to comfort the pet while examining them. Is not quick to jump into unnecessary or expensive treatments until other options are exhausted unless its necessary. Has a true love for his profession and pets and it shows.

he's very reassuring. we had a bout with illness a few months ago and everything was ok. he has conversations with you. very homey atmosphere. he gives a personal call when he's done blood work and tells you exactly what everything means.
