Yes, I recommend this pro
I thought he was a super guy! He built my house and I was very happy. The experience with him was very good. He was able to do everything that he said he would do. Anytime that we wanted something done differently, he would have people come in and do it. They did a fine job. We changed the original design and plan and they worked with us completely. They gave us what we exactly wanted. We wanted the house faced a certain way so that it faced the water. He walked around with me to get everything where I wanted it. He fulfilled personal demands, and it was really reasonable. I was very happy with them. We only had one fan ordered, and he thought the room needed two. He gave us the other fan for free, just because he didn't think one fan would look right. He picked it up and installed it. He is a builder of integrity. They came back and fixed everything that needed to be fixed in a timely manner. They worked with us. We brought a cleaner, and he sent another one back because he wasn't happy with the way that they clean. I was happy with their responsiveness and punctuality. They made building a house an easy experience.

Building was quick; from clearing land to move-in took one month. Every time we came to the site something was different from the plans: back basement door was moved, apparently because survey had said door would go on one side of the house and it wouldn't work there. We could not move floor plan of rest of basement around at that point, though, because rough-in for washer and bathroom was already poured. (we ended up with washer in hallway and not enough room to put tub in basement bathroom.) Basement door (french doors) have never closed properly (builders attempt to fix this at one-year was to add additional weatherstripping- which still did not fix problem). Back yard stayed flooded until we brought in 80 tons of dirt to properly grade. Vinyl deteriorated quickly, we now have holes in some areas - not high-traffic. Carpet has already been re stretched once and needs it again. Basement was plumbed and wired on outside of framing/needed rerouting when we began to finish basement. Floor joist was cut (and left, not braced) to allow for shower drain. Ejector pump for basement sewage not sealed, allowing underground water to drain into it. Ejector pump did not have cut-off valve. Ceiling joist in upstairs great room/kitchen area still settling. Over 250 nail pops repaired so far - some from framing which push out chunks of drywall. 6 receptacles worked on in which push-in type wires have popped out. Light fixtures all leak oil. Framers moved door to finished room in basement. Stairs moved. Stairs not square to house. Vinyl in bathroom had knife cuts around toilet. No sink fixtures sealed. Shower/bathtub enclosure cracked (from dropped tools). Ventless vent under kitchen sink growing massive amounts of mold. Condenser pump installed on air handler in basement with drain less than 2 feet away. Expansion cracks in basement are cracked through to soil and gravel below. Expansion crack edges are raised 1 inch above rest of floor. Cement basement floor uneven up to 1 1/2 inches. We were never told that the lot was a storm water management lot - at closing that information was on the plate. Construction superintendent impossible to contact.
