Called Mike around 8 p.m. on a Friday evening. Surprisingly (for that hour) he answered my first call. He had me describe my electrical problem in detail and suggested the cause might be a tripped Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) on an outlet somewhere in the circuit. When I told him that only ceiling lights seemed to be affected, he said he's come out and take a look at it the next day (a Saturday). Mike showed up as scheduled and did an extensive diagnostic check of the faulty circuit. When he couldn't find any initial problem, he used an electronic tracer to track the error down. As a result he discovered that even though the problem was an outage in the basement ceiling fixtures (and nearby outdoor security lights), a circuit breaker had tripped on the main panel in the garage, not the circuit breaker panel in the basement. For several hours time a a round trip distance of ten or more miles on a Saturday afternoon, Mike only charged $55 -- very reasonable since most area electricians wanted $100 just to come out to the house (on a weekday!) Mike was professional, personable and got the job done quickly, even though it was on a weekend, and at a very reasonable cost. (What's not to like?)

He is very efficient. When I called him, he was there the next day to do the job. His pricing is exactly the same as what he quotes. You do not feel like he is trying to get over on you. He does a clean job and puts everything back in place. He is very, very professional. I would absolutely use his services in the future.
