 + 3 moreIn July 2013, I paid the owner of Specialty Construction, Chris Morgan, $5,000 as a deposit to remodel my home in the Lake Reynovia neighborhood in Charlottesville. After weeks of promises, no drawings or work had been done. I finally decided not to do the project. Chris promised again and again, using many different excuses, to return the money to me. Six weeks ago, he stopped returning phone calls. A horrifying experience, with no end in sight. I wish I knew what to do next.
