It was great . They done quickly to improve my roof.

Bottom line: we are extremely happy with the Hartley's work. The company replaced our roof and resided the front of our home and installed replacement windows. Their work is meticulous and the result fantastic. Plus, they are very pleasant people to work with. Their rates were competitive.

Amazing. Todd Hartley and his team of professionals are top notch. I cannot recommend them enough. When I had a roof issue, Hartley was the only contractor willing to take a look the same day it was discovered (right before a very heavy rainstorm) since it had the potential to just be a minor roof repair (this was during the busy season). They came out within 2 hours, prepared to tarp the roof if necessary. Once the issue was identified, my insurance company came out to assess and totaled the roof. Based on my initial experience, I gave Hartley a call and they not only upgraded my roof to architectural shingles (instead of 3 tab, which is what I originally had), 6" gutters (instead of 5") and a thicker gauge steel roof for a bumpout roof. Hartley scheduled me within a more than reasonable timeframe during their busy season (and after several major storms) and performed the work as scheduled and on time. Each step of the way, the crew and Todd were happy to answer my numerous questions. Todd and his team are top notch. When I found issues not related to their work completed (siding issue from when it was built), Todd and his crew came out to help me fix the issue at no charge. I can honestly say that Hartley Home Exteriors cares deeply for their customers, has exceptional customer service, communicate well with their customer and amongst their team members, and Todd (the owner) stands behind his work. It says a lot when you see the owner coming out to check on not only the work being completed but also his crew. He cares about his customers and his crews and it absolutely shows based on my interactions with him. Do yourself a favor and give Hartley a call if you have any roof, siding, gutters, window, or door issues.

Very well - Hartley gave us an estimate that was accurate and our insurance agreed with. They arrived on the day planned (rescheduled once due to weather) and were finished when they said they'd be. They were good with our dogs and cleaned up the area very well.

They did all of the jobs when they said they would and did a great job of cleaning up after each job.

Hartley did a fabulous job. Their entire crew is polite and attentive. Their work product is excellent. We were very happy with the result and would have them work on our home again in a split second!

Thankfully insurance was covering the damage but the paperwork and coverages listed were very confusing. We had several estimates done but Hartley was the only one that had the knowledge to walk us through what all of the information on the insurance paperwork meant and we had been paying for better roof repair coverage which meant we could get the roof re-done with far superior work and products than we originally had. Without Hartley we wouldn't have even known that! Not only did the repairs go extremely smoothly both inside and out but the crews were exceptionally polite and exceptionally clean.

They did an excellent job every step of the way, from providing the estimate to scheduling the work and cleaning up after the job. The cost was quite reasonable and the roof looks great.

Called and set up to get quote to replace my roof. Todd came out to measure and sent the quote to me. I agreed on the price and sent the deposit and got an date for installation. The crew arrived and went to work. It took 2 days to do the job with them having to put up with some rain both days. Everything was cleaned up when the crew left and somebody came back the next day to use a magnet to make sure all the nails had been got up. The roof looked great. I had one small trim issue that was corrected right away. Do yourself a favor and make sure to include Hartley in your Quotes. You will be glad you did. Thanks for a job well done.

Overall, Todd and his team did excellent work. They even came out right away to put a temp fix on an existing hole in my roof before the actual job. The job was completed in one day and it looks great. The crew worked all day without a break and they did an impressive job of cleaning up the work site. However, I have to mark the company down for their communication, which is primarily a result of the front office. The entire communication process from start to finish felt like pulling teeth to get information. Initially, I was told they would be able to get to my roof in 2 weeks, which was one of the reasons that I went with this company. In the end, it was just over 6 weeks from the initial site visit to putting on the roof. I wouldn’t have minded so much had I been given updates along the way. At one point, I was called about my roof selection only for them to realize that they called the wrong customer. They said that they would call me back but that took another week. Even after they cashed my initial deposit, they didn’t communicate with me to say they received my check and to schedule a date until I called them a week later. Unfortunately, I feel that this lack of communication is common in this industry and I have had similar experiences with other companies. In the end, I would recommend Hartley Homebuilding. I just hope they can improve their communication.

It went very well. They were on time and completed the job as schedule. They did a thorough job and replaced items on the roof that were never on the original roof but should have been. The workers were polite and had good work ethic which shows in their final product. There were no hidden cost or surprises. Would definitely hire them again.

Excellent from start to finish. Initially, Hartley responded within 5 or 6 hours to install a temporary emergency repair. Todd then worked closely with my insurance adjuster which made working with my insurance company very easy. The efficiency and quality of the roofing crew's work was noticeable. The entire job (main house and detached garage) was completed within one day. The clean-up was meticulous. I would hire Hartley Home Exteriors again in a heart beat.

Todd came out and gave me a presentation on how the process works and which shingles he wanted to use. I did research and confirmed what Todd told me about the brand and style. It took a couple of weeks to get on his schedule once I signed the contract. The roofers did a really good job. I recommended Todd's company to a neighbor but they chose a cheaper roofer but their shingles don't look as nice as ours. Bottom line: I think I got a really quality job done at a fair price.

They were fantastic. They came out the same day I called and inspected my roof. They did not find any issues and as a result did not charge me. Really appreciated their responsiveness and honesty to get to my house and ensure I had no issues before the next rain storm. Will definitely reach out to them again when needed. Great company.
