We were given an estimate for falling, cutting and stacking 8 large pine trees. The brush was to be removed by the tree cutters. (the wood itself by to be removed by a neighbor who wanted it to burn) A deposit was paid to the two workers. Two trees were felled and two were cut up. The brush from one tree was removed by the city, not by the men we contracted. After the first day of work, numerous calls were placed to the tree cutters over a time period of approximately 3 months, alway receiving promises that they would reutrn. This was during the large snowfalls, so there was a slim posibility that weather could have been an issue. Finally, one of the men admitted that they would not be returning to cut the rest of the tree or finish any of the job. Lawyer have been contacted to attempt to retreive the balance of the money for the work that was not done. Good luck, right?
